Hey everybody, I don’t know if you guys remember me too well but I used to be here all the time around 1 1/2 years ago. Since then, I’ve gotten married, and my Husband and I would really love some kids to add to the family. He will actually sit down with me and listen to me rant about my names and even put his own input in!!! He is the greenest flag ever!!!
BUT… His name choices are not my choices, and its really difficult for us to agree.
We both are focusing on a boy, because we think I might be pregnant, keyword think so I don’t want to get too excited, but if I am, we both are hoping it’s a boy. So we’ve been discussing boy names lately, and these are his top 4 names:

Veldora

[name_m]Tucker[/name_m]
What do you guys think of these names, please let me know!?

I actually see a lot of cross over between your names and his I can definitely picture a sibling set consisting off [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] + [name_m]Helios[/name_m] or [name_m]Julian[/name_m] + [name_m]Dante[/name_m]. For me these names feel very romantic with a chic European eclectic feel. I can picture these names in [name_m]Baz[/name_m] Luhrmann’s production of [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] + [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. That’s the vibe I’m getting. I would zone in on these similarities!

To me your naming styles don’t actually sound hugely different (except for [name_m]Tucker[/name_m] and Veldora!) in terms of the sounds and feels to the names themselves, it just seems like yours are more “uncommon but well accepted” while his are more “out there”.
Have you discussed with him what is important to reach of you in terms of choosing names, and why each of you like those particular names?
What matters to you both in terms of wearability and how your child is perceived by others, spelling and pronunciation, how common the name is or isn’t, meaning, etc?
Maybe through talking it through you can find a sort of middle ground?
Veldora seems the most out there and unwearable from your husband’s list. To me it doesn’t even sound like a name, nevertheless a boy’s name. I would take that one off completely.
I think [name_m]Dante[/name_m] gives off similar vibes to [name_m]Lucian[/name_m] and [name_m]Julian[/name_m]. [name_m]Dante[/name_m], [name_m]Lucian[/name_m], and [name_m]Julian[/name_m] would probably be my top 3 for you guys!
[name_m]Helios[/name_m] is a little out there in comparison to your list, but could be grounded with a nickname (like [name_m]Lio[/name_m], [name_m]Elio[/name_m], or Eli) if you were feeling adventurous. I also think [name_m]Helios[/name_m] could make a good middle name. [name_m]Lucian[/name_m] [name_m]Helios[/name_m], in particular, makes a solid combo!
[name_m]Tucker[/name_m] definitely gives off different vibes from the rest of your husband’s list, he’s more country/cowboy/western and down to [name_f]Earth[/name_f] vibes to me. He’s running through open fields and jumping in mud puddles. He’s cute. I think [name_m]Tucker[/name_m] and [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] could make a good sibset! [name_m]Tuck[/name_m] and [name_f]Orli[/name_f] or [name_m]Tuck[/name_m] and [name_m]Andy[/name_m]. They’re fun together!

I agree with above that Veldora stands out the most and I would cross it off - a little too much like a (female) [name_f]Marvel[/name_f] character. I’m also unsure about [name_m]Tucker[/name_m] because it’s so southern USA - with other names like [name_m]Parker[/name_m], [name_m]Penn[/name_m] & [name_m]Colton[/name_m].
If I could pair them up, and tweak/ add, I would go:
[name_m]Dante[/name_m], [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] & [name_m]Anders[/name_m] (prefer to [name_m]Andre[/name_m] generally and esp with Dante)
[name_m]Helios[/name_m], [name_m]Zephyr[/name_m] & [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]
[name_m]Julian[/name_m], [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] & [name_m]Tobias[/name_m]

How about girls? Probably better to focus on healthy baby for now and enjoy the double the name lists?! 
There are similarities in sound with [name_m]Dante[/name_m] & [name_m]Andre[/name_m]. [name_m]Dante[/name_m] and [name_m]Lucien[/name_m] also seem like they’re similar styles. But the rest seem a little different from each other!
