We really like unisex names for girls, and we are having a difficult time choosing between these three. Any input would be great! Thanks.

I think [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is the coolest out of your three options. All of them are great unisex names, but [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] nn [name_f]Liv[/name_f] would be the winner for me.
I love [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], but I’m not as enthusiastic about [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]. It’s not one that I’ve heard used as a girl’s name yet (although mind you, the trend for last names as first names is growing). [name_f]Liv[/name_f] doesn’t seem like an obvious nn either–I think other people would be more likely to shorten the name to [name_u]Sully[/name_u] or even [name_f]Sue[/name_f], but that’s just my guess.

I’ve never really thought about [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] on a girl. It’s quite cute and while at first [name_f]Liv[/name_f] doesn’t seem like an obvious nickname, it does work.
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is a great unisex name but she may know others. My daughter had a girl [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] in preschool, a boy [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] in first grade. I know of a few others (both boys and girls).
I think [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] gets my vote. I love [name_f]Elle[/name_f] as nickname and [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] is not too common for either gender.
My favorite is [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] nn [name_f]Elle[/name_f]. I think [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is very pretty. I’m not sold on [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] and I agree with the pp that people may instinctively go with a different nn. I’ve never been a huge fan of [name_u]Quinn[/name_u].
I love [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. The rest I do not really like.
I like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. I don’t like [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] as a given name or [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] on a girl.
I love [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]! I do agree its hard to find a middle for [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. With my list, [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is usually in the middle spot simply as its a one syllable name.
I love [name_u]Ellis[/name_u]! I wanted it for my next kid but it’s too matchy with my older baby. [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] is wonderful. [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] is also cool. [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is a pretty great nickname.

nn [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is one of my favorites and [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] sounds great with [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. That gets my vote!
I don’t like [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] on a girl, I never even knew it was classed as unisex! [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] definitely get my vote. I love [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] the most but [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] nn [name_f]Elle[/name_f] is lovely, and I’ve warmed up to it a lot since watching Greys (before that, I didn’t know [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] was used on both genders, either).
I know someone who has a little girl named [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] and they call her Li Li (lee lee). In their case it is mom’s maiden name. Personally I think all three names are great. I am a bit partial to [name_u]Ellis[/name_u], because I have for some time thought that [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] made a great name for a girl, and [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is adorable.
[name_u]Ellis[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] are my favorites. I don’t really consider [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] a unisex name; it’s firmly entrenched in the boy camp to me. If I saw the other two on paper, I would look for another clue for gender because I honestly wouldn’t be sure with either name. If a child with the name [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] came to my attention, I would 100% assume that the child was a boy.
If I had to choose between [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], I think [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] would win by a slim margin.
I love [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. I also really like [name_f]Liv[/name_f], but I’m not so sure [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] is the best way to get there.
