See the results of this poll: Which girl’s name do you like best?

Respondents: 32 (This poll is closed)

  • Natalie Jane (Natalie = related to Christmas, but I just like it because it’s pretty; Jane = believer in a gracious God, and is feminine of John, hubby’s name): 13 (41%)
  • Megan Elizabeth (Megan = pearl; Elizabeth = consecrated to God): 3 (9%)
  • Angela Christine (Angela = heavenly messenger; Christine = Christian): 4 (13%)
  • Katherine Johanna (Katherine = pure; Johanna = feminine of John, meaning God is gracious): 12 (38%)

I love [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Jane[/name]! And I would also love [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Johanna[/name] if there was a nn like [name]Kate[/name] or [name]Katie[/name], but I’m not a fan of [name]Katherine[/name] alone.

I don’t really care for the other two…

I love [name]Angela[/name] and think it’s underused but not unusual. I think I prefer [name]Angela[/name] [name]Jane[/name] to [name]Angela[/name] [name]Christine[/name].

I voted for [name]Katherine[/name] and [name]Natalie[/name].

[name]Megan[/name] and [name]Angela[/name] are alright names, but I don’t think of either as classic. In fact I sort of think of [name]Megan[/name] as a fallen trendy name.

Ranked in order of preference:

  1. [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Johanna[/name] - I love [name]Katherine[/name], it’s simple, sweet and classic. [name]Kate[/name] and [name]Kit[/name] are my favorite nicknames. [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would also make a stunning combination.

  2. [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Jane[/name] - [name]Natalie[/name] is strong but feminine and is sort of a modern classic. I prefer [name]Katherine[/name] but [name]Natalie[/name] is a close second.

  3. [name]Megan[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] - [name]Megan[/name]'s never really sparkled to me (I prefer [name]Margot[/name] or [name]Margaret[/name]), but it’s a perfectly nice name and “[name]Meg[/name]” is a cute nickname. [name]Elizabeth[/name] is great in the middle.

  4. [name]Angela[/name] [name]Christine[/name] - for some reason [name]Angela[/name] just rubs me the wrong way. [name]Angie[/name] has never appealed to me, though I prefer [name]Angelina[/name] or [name]Angelica[/name] a bit more. [name]Christine[/name] feels a bit lackluster in the middle. [name]Angela[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would be nice.

[name]Hope[/name] that helps!
