Choosing Between Two Names - Sci-Fi

I’m writing a 70s AU fanfiction of [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars and am writing a girlfriend for [name_f]Leia[/name_f]. I know it’s a strange concept, but hear me out. So far, the name I’ve been going with is [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_u]Pax[/name_u] (I know that [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] wasn’t a popular name in the 70s, but neither was [name_f]Leia[/name_f]). I’ve been thinking of changing her first name to [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]. Which is better: [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] or [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]? And if I change her name to [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], should I keep [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] as the middle name, or what should her middle name be? I probably won’t use a middle name in the story, but I like to have a full character development sheet before I write.

Appearance: 5’7", muscular build, tomboy, pale skin, long blonde hair, green eyes, thick eyebrows, dresses casually (keep in mind the time period) - even so, not conventionally “beautiful”

Personality: thought of as a tough girl, intellectual, likes to read, wants to be an airline pilot, opinionated, knows how to take care of herself and her family

I like [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] for the character! [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_u]Pax[/name_u] sounds very cool.

I like [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] better because it sounds/looks more sci-fy than [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] does. However, I think [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] might suit her description better. I also prefer the sound of [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] & [name_f]Leia[/name_f] over [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] & [name_f]Leia[/name_f]. My vote goes to [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].

Personally, I think [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] works better. Like the previous poster said, I think it’s better suited for a sci-fi story. And it works great as a full name: [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_u]Pax[/name_u].

Good luck with your story
