Christopher and Tristan?

Would it be weird for two brothers to have the middle names [name]Christopher[/name] and [name]Tristan[/name]? I have [name]Ronan[/name] [name]Christopher[/name] and [name]Jacob[/name] [name]Tristan[/name] on my usable list but I’m not use if I could use them together in a sib-set because [name]Christopher[/name] and [name]Tristan[/name] are quite similar. What do you think?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes, I’m a rubbish proof reader.

Anyone? …

I wouldn’t like them for first names but I don’t think it’s an issue if you use them in the middle spot. [name]How[/name] many people are going to know your children’s names except for family and close friends?

It’s fine. Using both [name]Christopher[/name] and [name]Tristan[/name] as first names is where I draw the line.

I think it’s totally fine. Maybe too similar as first names but work as middle names.

Doesn’t seem like a problem to me. Honestly, I don’t hear them as being that similar. Especially for a middle name, I think it’s fine.

I love [name]Christopher[/name] and [name]Tristan[/name] as brothers. I would definitely use these names in the first name spot, it is a gorgeous match.

I would not put them into the second name spot they are too perfect.

rollo

As first names, they’re more matchy than I’d personally like but totally doable. I would find it interesting rather than terrible on someone else’s children. As middles they’re fine- or even one as a first, one as a middle. I love [name]Tristan[/name] btw!

No problem at all. They feel like very very different names to me. They have a little bit of pronunciation similarity, but not overly so. I wouldn’t even think it would be much of an issue if they were both first names.

I would have a problem with it for first names, but I think it’s fine for middle names. People will compare siblings first names, but not middles. Most people won’t even know their middle names when they are older.

Thanks everyone.
