Ĉiela Estelle

What are your thoughts on this name I’ve come up with?

Ĉiela (see - el - lah) [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] (eh - stell)

Ciela means “sky, heaven” and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] means “star”. Combined they basically mean “heavenly stars in the sky” or something of that nature. I love astronomical names and thought that this combo had such a beautiful meaning - and sound.

Ciela is pretty! There’s also [name_u]Ciel[/name_u]. I like the meaning, but I’m not a fan of the repeating “elle” sound. What about Ciela [name_f]Esther[/name_f] or Ciela [name_u]Vesper[/name_u]? [name_f]Esther[/name_f] means star and [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] means evening star

I agree with what @fearlessfirefly said! The sounds are a bit too repetitive, even though both names are nice on their own.
Ciela [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is great. Ciela [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], Ciela [name_f]Yvaine[/name_f] and Ciela [name_f]Calytrix[/name_f] also have star-related meanings.

There’s not much I can say that [name_f]Faith[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] haven’t already covered! I love the feel of it, though, and Ĉiela is beautiful.

What about Ĉiela [name_f]Etoile[/name_f]?

It’s beautiful and meaningful, but I agree with the previous posters about its flow. However, it’s not terrible and I can see it working.

In Spanish [name_u]Cielo[/name_u] means sky pronounced “[name_u]Sai[/name_u]-lo”, Ciela is a feminine form of it though the name in itself is unisex, it would be pronounced “[name_u]Sai[/name_u]-la” though to non Spanish speakers they would pronounce it the way you would, I wish I knew how to use the record button as it’s hard to pronounce it as a non Spanish speaker

It has a lovely meaning but the sounds are a bit similar
