Claire Eilidh?

I’ve been playing around with [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] again, and came across this today. I think I may really love it. WDYT?

([name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] is said like Aylee, and is a family name for me.)

Eventually I’d add a second MN, but I really haven’t gotten that far yet. (I think that’ll help with so many “AY” sounds?)

So far I’ve tossed about:

[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] (my favorite, I think!)
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] (too abrupt?)
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] (generally not a massive fan of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], though, so I feel weird about adding it to a combo…)
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]

Although I’m open to any and all suggestions. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks, Berries!

ETA: WDYT of Claire Eilidh Sophia/Sofia (or even Claire Sophia/Sofia Eilidh?)

[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] feels very sunny and cheerful to me- [name_f]Claire[/name_f] does in general, and [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] is also a sweet, lighthearted name. The flow doesn’t seem quite right to me though- maybe because the long vowel sound in [name_f]Claire[/name_f] seems to run into the first syllable of [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] to me? It needs a strong consonant sound in between to break it up, I think. [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] would be nice though.

[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] would be my favourite, but I feel like it’d sound better as [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f], again to break up the very vowel-y names.

The repeating “li” sounds in [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]/[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] are throwing me off, but you seem to like repeated-sound combos, so that might be a plus for you!

Agree with this - was going to suggest [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] Elidh. There’s something tongue twistery about the silent e and the starting A together - almost like they flow together too much.

I love [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]! Some possible combos:

[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] or [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]
Claire Eilidh Fiona

I love it! My favourites from your list are [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].

[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] is really pretty together!

[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] - I really like this one. I think it’s my favorite of what you have so far.
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - I like it, sound wise. Visually for me I don’t love the E names next to each other, even if [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] doesn’t really have an E sound. But that’s just my brain.
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - Similar issue to [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. But the flow on this doesn’t seem ideal.
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] - Yeah, perhaps too abrupt, much as I like [name_f]Joy[/name_f]. I think this combo needs a second middle at least two syllables, ideally three it seems.
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - Nice flow, and I like it. Though I get what you’re saying about [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. I’ve toyed with it as a middle name and it has felt odd since I never was big into it. It just comes down to what’s important to you for the name. Having a long time favorite or something real meaning-filled, or simply having a name you like the sound of. All are valid.
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] - Decent flow, and I love [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]. But I think some of the others sound a bit better together.

Suggest:

[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Oceane[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Johanna[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Augusta[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Natalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Leonora[/name_f]

[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is gorgeous!

[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is simply darling! I generally find 3 name combos to be overkill, but it is sweet and perfect.

What a lovely MN! I’m sure I’ve seen her before but I’ve never really paid her much attention. The meaning is wonderful. I’ve been crushing on [name_f]Claire[/name_f] lately so I adore this combo, lol. Anyway,

I love [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. I esp. love [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]'s sound but I think [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] has such a wonderful meaning!

[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] is beautiful and give me very soft, peaceful vibes while also being classic and elegant. A lovely addition to your combo, [name_u]Ash[/name_u]! I’m biased but I think [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] flows better as a second middle name, [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] would even more or maybe [name_f]Beatriz[/name_f]? [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is my second choice but maybe slightly changing it to [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] or [name_f]Eleonora[/name_f] would make it flow better. I’m not good with third middles, sorry!

It sounds like clearly being said with a drawl. I like [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and I like [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f], but I don’t like them next to each other.

Thank you, lovelies!

I think, at this point, all but [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] are out. I see what you all mean about [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] flowing better, but I definitely want [name_f]Claire[/name_f] as a FN on my list, so if I keep them paired together, it’d either be [name_f]Claire[/name_f] _____ [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] or [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] _____. ([name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] as a FN isn’t totally out of the equation, though; I’ve LOVED [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] for eons, and would love to use it up front if I thought it’d work easier in the US. Am I wrong in thinking that [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] is better served in the US as a middle or as a gp?)

WDYT of [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]/[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]? In general, I prefer [name_f]Sofia[/name_f], but with [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f], somehow [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] seems better?

Thanks again!
