What do you think of Clara and Josie as sisters? (hypothetically)
I love the two and I think they go beautifully together, but I want your input.
Is Josie too nicknamey in comparison to Clara? Do you think she’d be jealous of her sister’s more formal feeling name?
And would Josie and Clara be better, or Clara and Josie? (order)

I would be fine being named [name_f]Clara[/name_f], but I would be resentful if I were named [name_u]Josie[/name_u].
I love [name_u]Josie[/name_u]! I don’t see what is wrong with the name as [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] and similar names are popular right now. Could always go with [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f]

Yeah, I thought that - just that [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is a lot longer than [name_f]Clara[/name_f].
But [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] flows nicely that way, as well as [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f].
I do love [name_u]Josie[/name_u], and I’m compelled to use a certain middle for my first, and that particular middle works with [name_u]Josie[/name_u] not [name_f]Josephine[/name_f].
Then I would go with [name_u]Josie[/name_u]! Really one of my all-time favorites and a beautiful name imo!
I personally find [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] unattractive so yes, but I know many who love the name.

Clara is very versatile in my opinion - it doesn’t look too short with Josephine and Imogen, and fits right in with Josie and Kate!
i do think Josie feels too nicknamey next to Clara. it definitely depends on the person but i, personally, would be jealous if my sister was Clara and i was Josie. i think Josephine works better with Clara, despite the difference in length

[name_u]Josie[/name_u] is a family name and it’s very important to me, and tbh I prefer it over [name_f]Clara[/name_f].

[name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_u]Josie[/name_u] could be a nice combo!
[name_u]Or[/name_u] even [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_f]Claire[/name_f].
I like both of those combos more than [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_u]Josie[/name_u] together.
Calla’s not my taste, and [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is alright but doesn’t have the same kind of vibe as [name_f]Clara[/name_f].

Clara feels really refined to me so i would recommend similar feeling names, like Alice or Cecily. i would feel better if i was Josie and my sister was Kate, because Josie and Kate have similar vibes and are both nickname names. i do generally really dislike Josie, however, so regardless i wouldn’t want to be called it (so take my opinion with a grain of salt).
I absolutely love [name_u]Josie[/name_u] on its own and I love the name [name_f]Clara[/name_f] as well.

[name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] sound good - I think the -ie and Cl- is easier to say than -ra and [name_u]Jo[/name_u]-
