I am having such a hard time deciding which one I like more. I love the nickname [name]Addie[/name] for [name]Adeline[/name] but [name]Clara[/name] is so sweet. What do you think?
Well both [name]Clara[/name] [name]Madeline[/name] and [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Violet[/name] are nice, but I don’t like nn [name]Addie[/name] for [name]Adeline[/name]. So my choice would be [name]Clara[/name] [name]Madeline[/name]. I think it also has better flow than [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Violet[/name]. Good luck!
I would have to say [name]Clara[/name] [name]Madeline[/name], but its a close call! I think that [name]Adeline[/name] is beautiful, but I also think there are going to be a lot of little girls going by [name]Addie[/name] due to [name]Addison[/name] and [name]Adelyn[/name]/[name]Adelynn[/name] and even the emerging popularity of beauties like [name]Adeline[/name] and [name]Adelaide[/name] and [name]Adelia[/name].

I do like [name]Adeline[/name], but I have to say that I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Clara[/name]. I have a [name]Clara[/name] and we get compliments on her her name all the time. My vote goes to [name]Clara[/name] [name]Madeline[/name]!
[name]Even[/name] though I prefer [name]Claire[/name], and think that [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Claire[/name] sounds better, I still pick [name]Clara[/name] [name]Madeline[/name] over [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Violet[/name]. I feel like [name]Adeline[/name] is missing the M, and sounds like add-a-line. I like nn [name]Addie[/name] for [name]Adelaide[/name] instead. [name]Clara[/name] has always sounded cowish to me though…but I know this doesn’t bother others like yourself. [name]Violet[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] would be lovely…just sayin’ 
I prefer [name]Clara[/name] [name]Madeline[/name] too. Although I don’t think [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Violet[/name] is too bad, there is a lot of the long I sound in it so I think the other combination sounds better.

I adore [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Violet[/name]! I’m not as huge of a fan of [name]Madeline[/name] (prefer [name]Madeleine[/name]) and [name]Adeline[/name] (never liked its sound). So by default [name]Clara[/name] wins. I really love the idea of [name]Violet[/name] [name]Clara[/name], though!
Please don’t use the nn of [name]Addie[/name] for the gorgeous [name]Adeline[/name]! It puts her in with all the Addisons and Madisons and she deserves to stand alone as a gorgeous name so I think [name]Adele[/name] or if you go with [name]Adelina[/name] you get the cute nn of [name]Lina[/name] (leena).
I would suggest [name]Adelina[/name] [name]Willow[/name] which as a beautiful flowing quality that shows up all the feminity of the combo, gorgeous.
[name]Clara[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name] is beautiful and it could be a future sister’s name so for my money I say go with a new combo of [name]Adelina[/name] [name]Willow[/name] nn of [name]Adele[/name]

I also have a [name]Clara[/name], so that is the obvious pick for me. I like [name]Adeline[/name] as well though.

I actually like a cross between the two: [name]Clara[/name] [name]Violet[/name]. [name]Both[/name] combinations are sweet, but I know ALOT of little ladies named [name]Madeline[/name], and I agree with the an earlier post that [name]Addie[/name] is a common nickname.

I do agree that [name]Addie[/name] is a very common nickname, and I can see [name]Adeline[/name] always being misheard and people just calling her [name]Madeline[/name]. So for that reason I am going to stick with [name]Clara[/name] [name]Madeline[/name] as my main choice. Although some of you suggested [name]Clara[/name] [name]Violet[/name] which I think is reeaally sweet. So I will be thinking of that combo.
