I also [name]Love[/name] [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Mae[/name] is a family name that we will definitely use as a middle name one day but my dd loves [name]Mickey[/name] mouse clubhouse and [name]Clara[/name] [name]Belle[/name] is the cow… So for that reason it is out for us only because my dh nixed it due to the show, but it is a beautiful name!!!
I love [name]Clara[/name]! I have never associated it with cows at all! Also, since the C sound is different from Ch in [name]Charlotte[/name], I don’t think that having the same first letter will be a problem.
I don’t think of a cow with [name]Clara[/name] at all. That name was actually on my short list with my daughter, but I had a niece [name]Clare[/name] born 3 mo before my daughter so [name]Clara[/name] is now off my list forever, unfortunately. Also I wouldn’t worry about [name]Grace[/name] feeling left out not having a C name…my 3 siblings all had S names and mine was a K name. I didn’t care.
Good luck.
[name]Clara[/name] [name]Mae[/name] is a lovely name I wouldn’t worry too much about the C thing as [name]Charlotte[/name] has a different sound to many C names? I would wonder if [name]Grace[/name] might feel left out maybe not because her name doesn’t begin with C but rather because her name is the shortest? But these things probably don’t traumatise children even if they might wonder why? Am sure being told that you loved each of their names equally would dispell any queries? (she says maybe I should also take this advice!!)
We had [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Lara[/name] on our list and I think [name]Clara[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Grace[/name] sound lovely together. Very classic
I have a [name]Clara[/name] and never heard any cow references when we were considering the name. Perfect choice with your girls’ names.
I love the name [name]Clara[/name]. It has no cow association for me at all. [name]Clara[/name] [name]Mae[/name] is a terrific choice for your daughter!
