Would love to know thoughts on [name_f]Clara[/name_f], ([name_u]Clare[/name_u] - ah) with sib set [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f]?

i love clara (though the clah-ruh pronunciation is intuitive to me and my preference)

i think it works well with everett & anna!

Thanks! I was wondering about the pronunciation issue. I think both are lovely, so thinking if it isn’t the [name_u]Clare[/name_u] - ah pronunciation we intend im still ok with that and it’s an easy correction. I wonder if the pronunciation is regional? I’m in [name_f]Canada[/name_f]?

Clara is so lovely and goes perfectly with [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f]! I pronounce it [name_u]Clare[/name_u]-uh and am from the US.

i’m in the uk, so i’m not sure about the assumed pronunciation in canada, but here its typically clah-ruh

I wonder about this too. We liked [name_u]Everett[/name_u] for its old fashioned charm, but looking back, it is not really in keeping with the other boys names we had on our list that were more similar style to [name_f]Anna[/name_f] & [name_f]Clara[/name_f]!

FWIW I’m in (Atlantic) [name_f]Canada[/name_f] and I think it would be pronounced like CLAIR-uh here - I think people would rhyme it with [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]. Anyway, I think [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is such a great name! It has some commonalities with each of [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] but doesn’t actually sound a lot like either of them, which to me makes it a good fit.
