Classic but underused

We are thinking about:
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] “[name_f]Grace[/name_f]”
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] “[name_f]Rosie[/name_f]”
Middle name will be [name_u]Marion[/name_u]
Which do you like best and which do you like worst?
Are any of these overused in your opinion?
[name_m]Don[/name_m]’t want my daughter to be on of five in her class.
Thank you

I like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] the best with M@xwell and think it is the most “classic” of the names you listed. I like how it flows with [name_u]Marion[/name_u] as a middle name. Good luck with your decision.

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] is stunning, and I really like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] too.

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] is a beautiful name but it is very popular where I’m from ([name_f]England[/name_f]), as is [name_f]Gracie[/name_f]. They may not be so well-used in the US, though. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is very common as a middle name now but not so much as a first.

All the names you’ve chosen are wonderful. Very difficult to choose a favourite, but maybe [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is also one of my favourites and works well with [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m].

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a first and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] fit the category of underused but classic! I really like [name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] is overused and bland compared to the others, sorry

I think [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] sound better with the middle name [name_u]Marion[/name_u]. Both are lovely. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] just doesn’t seem to work for me.

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is unexpected as a first name and sounds very nice with your chosen middle. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is my favorite for you.

I think [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] makes the best combination. So pretty!

[name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Gracie[/name_f], [name_f]Gracelyn[/name_f], etc are all a bit overused in my area, but [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is still lovely. My favorite option for you is [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. Definitely underused in the first name slot, and [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] is so adorable.

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] is my favourite! [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is amazing as well

As a first name, I prefer [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. It’s elegant but also playful - definitely an underused classic. I’m not sure how much I like it with [name_u]Marion[/name_u] - I think the soft A ending of [name_f]Clara[/name_f] immediately next to the soft A of [name_u]Marion[/name_u] blend together a little too much.

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] is everywhere these days as both a first and middle name. [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Gracie[/name_f], [name_f]Gracelynn[/name_f], etc. I remember thinking it was a fresh, gorgeous choice when it was chosen for my sister’s middle name, but that was 17 years ago - the horse has been thoroughly beaten by this point.

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is quickly becoming the new [name_f]Grace[/name_f] in terms of filler middle name, but as others have mentioned, it doesn’t get much love as a first name. I’ve only known two Roses, and both were in their early 20s. It’s a lovely choice that will age well as she grows, and it sounds wonderful with [name_u]Marion[/name_u]!

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] is beautiful. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a first name is not common. I like [name_f]Grace[/name_f] but it is very popular. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is nice.

I like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] best of these.

We have similar taste in names. We strongly considered [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] when we named our son, but [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] won out. We also considered [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] before we found out we were having a boy. For future baby number 2, we are considering [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] for girls names ([name_f]Violet[/name_f] too), but not [name_f]Grace[/name_f] because we found out how popular it is. I think [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] or [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] are both beautiful and underused. I can’t wait to hear what you you end up choosing for your baby girl.

I like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] best as a first name, and I like it best with [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u]'s flow is not as good as [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u], though.

Would you consider two middle names? Maybe [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] or [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u]?

Ok I think we are cutting out [name_f]Grace[/name_f]!

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Clara[/name_f]?
I think I love [name_f]Clara[/name_f] a little bit more but I see what you ladies are saying about the flow of [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u].
Is [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] better?
Our last name is a long Lithuanian name the starts with a P and ends with “itis”.
I also worry that [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] is our cousins that we are very close to’s dogs name but it is not a deal breaker for me.

You have great taste!
I love [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] too! The girl was going to be [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Alan[/name_m] if she was a boy.
I am slightly leaning toward [name_f]Clara[/name_f] right now just because I like the name a little bit better than [name_f]Rose[/name_f] but I like both a lot and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] has better flow so I’m stumped!

I really like [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I see it a lot as a middle name, but think it is so pretty as a first. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is really beautiful and classic as well. My daughter has a couple [name_f]Claire[/name_f]'s in her grade, but no [name_f]Clara[/name_f]'s.
