[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone! Currently expecting our 5th/6th girls (twins!) on the 21st of [name_u]August[/name_u]. With our first four girls their names came to us pretty quickly along with their middle names. However, this time myself and DH are at lost! We do have our own lists of first and middle names we like, but we are not to found of eachothers (except one or two) and we want to keep with the sibling theme. A classic first name with an unique spelling and a [name_m]German[/name_m] middle name.
Our girls names are Elyzabeth [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f], [name_f]Klara[/name_f] [name_f]Annika[/name_f], [name_f]Alyce[/name_f] [name_f]Karolina[/name_f] and [name_f]Grayce[/name_f] [name_f]Christiane[/name_f].
DH’s list (for first names) is [name_f]Luisa[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Sofya[/name_f] and [name_f]Jemimah[/name_f] ([name_f]Jemma[/name_f] for short). (He is still looking for a unique spelling of [name_f]Olivia[/name_f])
My list is [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] (also still looking for alt. spelling), [name_f]Madelynn[/name_f], [name_f]Rebeckah[/name_f] and [name_f]Fayth[/name_f].
I’m not very keen on [name_f]Sofya[/name_f] as I know its quite popular (where I live at least), I actually like [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] but a unique spelling is hard to come by, [name_f]Luisa[/name_f] I don’t mind but I’m not all for it and although I like the name [name_f]Jemma[/name_f], I don’t like [name_f]Jemimah[/name_f].
DH insists that he doesn’t like [name_f]Fayth[/name_f], and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] isn’t well-spelt anyother way. My opinion about [name_f]Luisa[/name_f] is the same for him about [name_f]Madelynn[/name_f] and [name_f]Rebeckah[/name_f].
We are definitely having an easier time with middle names with us already chosen some: [name_f]Saskia[/name_f], [name_f]Ilse[/name_f], [name_f]Mechtilde[/name_f] and [name_f]Leonie[/name_f].
We also don’t want repeated letters with first names, so all E, K, A and G names are out!
Please help!
P.S (pronouncing)
[name_f]Annaliese[/name_f] = [name_f]Anna[/name_f]-[name_u]Lee[/name_u]-Za
[name_f]Annika[/name_f] = R-[name_u]Nik[/name_u]-A
[name_f]Alyce[/name_f] = [name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Karolina[/name_f] = Karo-[name_u]Lee[/name_u]-Na
[name_f]Ilse[/name_f] = Ill-Za
[name_f]Mechtilde[/name_f] = [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonie[/name_f] = [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-O-Nee (emphasis on the “L” sound)
Sorry for the long rant!
