I prefer the “unique” set with [name_m]Piers[/name_m], [name_u]Gray[/name_u] and [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], because those names are more uncommon as well.
However I like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] better with the other boy names in your signature ([name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m] & [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]).

I prefer the classic group. The “unique” group brings the boys trendy, whereas as I consider them gentlemanly and established, so I picked the group that went with the images in my mind.

For the set of boy names you provided I like the unique set best. Your classic set feels a little more trendy to me vs what I image to be classic ([name_f]Catherine[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] for example). Your classic set goes nice with your second set of boys names

It is interesting that you felt a change of feel of the boy set with the two different girl sets. We do too. [name_m]Piers[/name_m], [name_u]Gray[/name_u], [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], and my son’s name all feel a bit preppy to me but have a sophistication to them. Gentlemanly, like you said, but also a little light hearted. English sounding but not pretentious. When I say them along with [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] I still get those feelings. When I say them with Maebry, [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] some of that gentlemanly, sophistication goes away and, I guess it’s, trendiness takes its place. I do not feel the more unique set brings the boy set down. [name_m]Just[/name_m] not the feel of how I envision the boy names.
