Our beautiful baby girl, sister to [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] finally arrived a mere 3 days late on [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] evening.
We agonised over her middle ([name_f]Clementine[/name_f] was an easy choice!) and I think a little bit of me also felt it was a bit ‘out there’ and I was secretly worried people may be mean. Finally we decided- actually it’s as beautiful and delicate as she is, seasonal and has a nice rhythm with our one syllable surname. And if people want to be mean about a tiny baby’s name then they’re no friends of ours!

Her nickname is mostly Mousey, obviously nothing to do with her actual name, it’s just what my son named her while I was pregnant.
I have found myself calling her [name_u]Clemmy[/name_u]-[name_u]Bell[/name_u] or just [name_u]Clem[/name_u]. But it’s early days. It’s takes a while to get used to a name I think.
