Clementine or Josephine?

I love -ine names but don’t care for [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] at all!

I actually know more [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]'s than I do [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]'s. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] gets my vote because I love the nickname [name_u]Josie[/name_u].

I vote for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] because people here in southern USA cannot pronounce “short e” as in " [name_u]Clem[/name_u]". They would say Clim (rhymes with [name_m]Jim[/name_m]).
Also i like the nickname [name_f]Fifi[/name_f] for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f].

[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is a more traditional and serious [name_m]French[/name_m] name than [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], partly because of its religious ties to the story of [name_m]Jesus[/name_m].

I look at your signature, and I see very traditional English names like [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Ada[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]… so I would definitely go with [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]. Especially since it has a word association, with the lovely fruit and colour, like the other names you seem to like. It’s more lighthearted than [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], and therefore fits all the other names you like, better. [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is an absolutely gorgeous combo from your sig. The only name I’d pair [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] with from your sig is [name_f]Clara[/name_f]: [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is a beautiful name, but even so it lacks a bit of the whimsy or sweet prettiness you seem to favour.
