I am looking for the perfect name to go with big sister [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] typically goes by [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f], however we occasionally call her [name_f]Nolie[/name_f], [name_f]Nolie[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], or [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
I love the idea of [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], but am afraid itās a handful. I also canāt think of a nickname that I truly love! And finding a middle name has been super difficult.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] would be pronounced LOO-sha. Pronunciation issues are my biggest fear with [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]. Middle name would either be [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] or [name_f]Carolina[/name_f].
Any other first name options to go with [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]. I had considered [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] as a first name, but fear that [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is too popular.
I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is very classy and goes well with [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]. [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] is very pretty, but I think many people would pronounce it wrong (I thought it was lu-see-a at first). Both are very cute, but I my vote is [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
Lucia would be most of time, depending where you live, as Loose-sia. And I would say [name_f]Clementine[/name_f](nn: [name_m]Lemmy[/name_m], [name_f]Tiny[/name_f], [name_f]Minny[/name_f]) usually. But with longer middle name Iād suggest shorter names.
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is perfect! I love that name! Your daughter was a wonderful name.
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] would be nice.
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is such a beautiful name
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] & [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] go so perfectly together!
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite nickname for [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is [name_f]Emmie[/name_f]/Emmy or [name_f]Em[/name_f]!
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] is beautiful too. I do think thereād be some pronunciation issues, but those are easily corrected!
[name_f]Carolina[/name_f] is nice too, but I agree that itās a little more common than [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f].
some [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] combos (sorry if you donāt like them!)
Clementine is very nice. Other alternatives: [name_f]Saffron[/name_f], [name_f]Savannah[/name_f], [name_u]Memphis[/name_u], [name_f]Mae[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f], and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is a better match for [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]. I do think it might be a bit of a mouthful with either of the mn options, though. I second @Estrelaās suggestion of [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]!
I personally love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], especially with [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] ! Itās so pretty, mns could be [name_u]Clemmy[/name_u], [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], [name_f]Tiny[/name_f], [name_f]Tina[/name_f] etc so cute.
Iām not sure about [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] to be honest, Iām not sure itās quirky enough to sit alongside [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f].
Other names that spring to mind though are
[name_f]Lavender[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Jemima[/name_f]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Emerald[/name_f]
[name_f]Tansy[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Viola[/name_f]
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f]Clover[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f]
Clementine fits perfectly with [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]!
Clementine [name_f]Margot[/name_f] or [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] came to mind - or even [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]
Clementine seems so perfect with [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]! Both feel a little bit quirky, a little bit vintage, and full of energy and personality. I also like the symmetry of two longer names that both shorten to cute nicknames. [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] is lovely too, but it gives me a bit of a different vibe than [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] and I do think the pronunciation would be tricky (not un-doable at all, if you love it, just a consideration).
For what itās worth, I donāt think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is a handful at all! To me it seems perfectly wearable while still being distinctive. As for nicknames, I love [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]/Emmie, and there are lots of other great options that I think have mostly been mentioned already. I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] works nicely with [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] or [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] (especially if youāre pronouncing it care-oh-LEE-nuh), although I also love the previous suggestion of [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] to shorten things a little.
Overall, [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] definitely gets my voteābut you have two lovely options here, so I understand why itās tough to choose!
Clementine is a perfect match with [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]! I donāt think itās a āhandful.ā [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], [name_u]Kit[/name_u], and [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] are my favourite nicknames. Thereās also [name_f]Clea[/name_f], [name_f]Emmie[/name_f], [name_u]Clemmie[/name_u], [name_f]Minty[/name_f], [name_m]Lem[/name_m], [name_f]Tina[/name_f]/Tia, and [name_f]Tiny[/name_f]. [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] is gorgeous, but not as great of a match stylistically imo (not that that matters if itās your favourite). There will also definitely be pronunciation issues, but thatās also not a huge deal if it ends up being your favourite.
I LOVE [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]! It is so sweet! And I prefer [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] over [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. Here are some other ideas to go with [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]:
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]
This is hard because I love both names for different reasons.
I adore longer frilly girl names with cool and spunky nicknames and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] fits that bill ! [name_f]Emme[/name_f], [name_f]Emmie[/name_f], [name_f]Tiny[/name_f] ,[name_u]Clem[/name_u],[name_u]Clemmie[/name_u]
I adore [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] but you will run into pronunciation issues for sure. I pronounce it [name_u]Lou[/name_u] -chi- uh but I think itās a stand out gorgeous name!
Magnolia [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] would be the pair I put together. But I love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] , [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_u]Bell[/name_u] , and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u]
Iām a [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] so definitely gonna give my heads up for that one! I do think however that [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] is going to sound extremely Spanish/Latino compared to her sister [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] so thatās the only thing that would give me second thoughts.
Also I pronounce my name as Car-oh-lee-na and Iām somehow not a big fan of Car-oh-line-ah but I guess thatās a personal preference. I do however always have to correct people on it and get asked if Iām from [name_u]North[/name_u] or [name_u]South[/name_u] [name_f]Carolina[/name_f]
I think that [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]ās pronunciation is not much of a problem. However, I prefer [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]! [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] make a beautiful set!
I adore the name [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and I think itās just perfect with [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]. I love the nickname [name_u]Clem[/name_u] but if you donāt like that how about [name_f]Em[/name_f], [name_f]Emmy[/name_f], or even [name_f]Tiny[/name_f], which I think is so endearing for a child? [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] is a beautiful name as well although I prefer the Italian pronunciation. Other ideas:
Iāve never been a fan of [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], but even if I was my vote is for [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]. mostly because it was my grandmaās name and it was pronounced Loo-sha. I feel like on this site everyone uses the [name_f]Lu[/name_f]-see-ah pronunciation where I automatically go to Loo-sha. i donāt think pronunciation would be much of an issue, but you would still probably have to correct a few people
