I really love [name]Phoebe[/name]. It’s a beautiful name and probably the one that I would choose. But [name]Clementine[/name] is really lovely and I do think there are some nn options:[name]Kit[/name], [name]Tyna[/name] (tie-nuh), [name]Minnie[/name], so if you love it, I wouldn’t stray because of them–nicknames will come organically as well, so I wouldn’t stress over that too much.
Oh I [name]LOVE[/name] the suggestion of [name]Kit[/name] as a nn for [name]Clementine[/name]!
I think there are some great nicknames for [name]Clementine[/name]. [name]Clem[/name], [name]Clemmy[/name], [name]Minnie[/name], [name]Tinnie[/name], [name]Minty[/name], [name]Tiny[/name], [name]Emy[/name], the list goes on!
[name]Phoebe[/name] is also lovely, but if the popularity is a concern, [name]Clementine[/name] is a fantastic alternative.
I don’t think you can go wrong with either honestly.
That is why I dislike [name]Clementine[/name]. I do not like [name]Clem[/name] or [name]Clemmie[/name]. ugh Maybe [name]Min[/name]? I think [name]Min[/name] is adorable.
[name]Phoebe[/name] is cute! Who cares if it is super popular in another country. My vote is for [name]Phoebe[/name].
Oh that’s a difficult choice. I love both of them! In the end I voted for [name]Phoebe[/name] as it has so many wonderful connections and some that are personal for me. [name]Clementine[/name] is fantastic though and I would love to meet one!
I chose [name]Clementine[/name] over [name]Phoebe[/name], my favorite nn for [name]Clementine[/name] is [name]Emme[/name] I think it’s so cute! Some of the pp have given some other great options, [name]Kit[/name], [name]Minty[/name] & [name]Minnie[/name] are also adorable
I would chose [name]Phoebe[/name] over [name]Clementine[/name]. I think [name]Phoebe[/name] is a much nicer name. [name]Clementine[/name] makes me think of the fruit. This is not a horrible association by any means, but it’s not one that I like either.
[name]Phoebe[/name] most definitely!!! There are no good nicknames for [name]Clementine[/name]
I really like [name]Phoebe[/name]. I would use it even if it were popular nearby.
[name]How[/name] does one get [name]Kit[/name] from [name]Clementine[/name]? I like the nickname, but can’t see the connection. And, even though it’s commonly used as a name, I couldn’t name my child after a fruit.
I did not vote, I’m too torn.
I have [name]Clemency[/name] on my list and for months I’m in dilemma of whether I should choose it or [name]Clementine[/name]. I would use the nn [name]Clea[/name]/[name]Lea[/name] since I’m not sure I like [name]Clem[/name], but then I’m also not sure any [name]Clemency[/name]/[name]Clementine[/name] can avoid [name]Clem[/name] as nn. Other possible nn are [name]Minnie[/name] or [name]Tina[/name], I think. On the other hand, I love [name]Phoebe[/name] nn [name]Bee[/name]!
Two of my top 10 names! [name]Phoebe[/name]'s a more recent love of mine, and [name]Clementine[/name] I’ve loved for years. I see [name]Phoebe[/name] as being slightly more wearable and kind of…perky? [name]Clementine[/name], though, is so beautiful and charming, and personally I love the nicknames [name]Clem[/name], [name]Cleo[/name], [name]Minnie[/name], [name]Minty[/name], [name]Emmy[/name], [name]Clemence[/name]… so I find it really hard to say which one I prefer! Sorry I’m not much help, they are both gorgeous names!
[name]Phoebe[/name] is the more conservative choice of the two but [name]Clementine[/name] is such a fun name. It gives off vibes of freedom and frivolity.
The nn of [name]Emmy[/name] is cute too.
I love [name]Clementine[/name] but i’ve never really liked [name]Phoebe[/name]. My favourite [name]Clementine[/name] nn is [name]Minnie[/name], so cute!
I really love [name]Phoebe[/name], it is on my list. I don’t quite know why, but I really, really dislike [name]Clementine[/name]. It just doesn’t sit well with me and I can’t imagine a little [name]Clementine[/name] (or a grown up one for that matter). Sorry if that sounds rude, I don’t mean it to!
[name]Clementine[/name] wins this one for me.
I loathe the name [name]Phoebe[/name], I cannot stand how it looks, or how it sounds.
[name]Clementine[/name] seems quite trendy to me, honestly. I feel like I’ve been seeing/hearing/reading of little Clementines everywhere. Might just be my circles though. I otherwise think it’s quite a nice name and wouldn’t be bothered by the fruit association.
I picked [name]Phoebe[/name], personally, but then I am partial to mythological names. And I don’t know any little Phoebes at all.
[name]Phoebe[/name] by far, it’s such a great name, and [name]Clementine[/name] I can’t get past the fruit, or Oh My Darling.
Thank you all for the comments so far…I think I’m leaning towards [name]Phoebe[/name]…maybe [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Clementine[/name]!
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] is a great combo.
I like both names. [name]Phoebe[/name] just seems more spunky without trying to me.
