I’m not pregnant just choosing names for a possible future child. Girls names are always hard for me, but I love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]!
I’ve seen a lot of people put it in the middle spot but I’d like to use it as a first name.
What do you think of [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f]?
[name_f]Jolie[/name_f] I see as a more feminine version of my middle [name_u]Jo[/name_u] which I always hated.
I absolutely love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]. I have it on my list as a first name too.

I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is simply darling! It’s very sweet and Southern. A friend of mine from college named her daughter [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and the name has always seemed so fresh and sweet.

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is beautiful, I also love [name_m]Clement[/name_m] for either gender. The nickname [name_u]Clemmie[/name_u] is so cute on a girl. [name_f]Maria[/name_f] [name_m]Clement[/name_m] is one of my combos, but [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] is an amazing name! [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] is sweet! I like it!
I want to love this name, I really do, but every time I hear it I get that dreadful song stuck in my head for hours. The traditional version of the song, as you may know, is about a little girl named [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] drowning and the grief her father suffers. I’m almost crying just thinking about it. I think there are gentler versions of the song out there though.
If you used it, I think the nickname [name_f]Tiny[/name_f] would be adorable when she’s young. I’ve heard [name_u]Clem[/name_u] used, and … it’s not the most attractive in my opinion.
The song is part of the reason I love it. Not the meaning of the song, but one of my childhood memories is my dad taking me out for breakfast before school, and the two of us singing that together. It’s kind of a long shot way to honor my dad. His name is [name_m]Harvey[/name_m].
[name_f]Jolie[/name_f] can also honor my mom who’s first name is [name_f]Joann[/name_f].

I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is super cute. And love it with [name_f]Jolie[/name_f].
Also, one of my cousins had a doll that her sister named [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]. She couldn’t say it and ended up being called [name_m]Lemon[/name_m]. I thought it was a cute nn.

I like the meaning that it holds to you, and the sound is good too. [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] or [name_f]Minna[/name_f] is a nickname I’ve always liked for a [name_f]Clementine[/name_f].
I like the combo. I’m not a particular fan of the name [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], but it’s a darling way to honor your dad. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the suggestion of nn [name_f]Minna[/name_f].
Sometimes messages get lost on the boards. There are just so many messages posted, if the right person doesn’t comment on it right away, it won’t keep coming up in the “new messages” which is how some of us find recent/relevant messages to look at (instead of going to every forum separately). No matter how much I try to love it, I can’t. I just think of [name_u]Clem[/name_u] and then think of phlegm, sorry. But I do think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] flows.
Obviously I love it…my oldest daughter is [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]! I think your combo flows really nicely and has such a sweet personal meaning. One thing about nicknames–I always thought we’d have one for our girl, but she’s been around a few years and she’s still just straight [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]. It wears well, I think.
