Clio/Cleo or Marin? What middle name if Clio/Cleo?

I cannot decide between Clip/[name]Cleo[/name] for my second daughter, or the name [name]Marin[/name]. We have a great middle name for [name]Marin[/name], but are stuck for one that would go with [name]Clio[/name]/[name]Cleo[/name] - Help!

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Clio[/name]!!! It’s by far the richest in history and personality!!

Another vote for [name]Clio[/name]! What kinds of middle names are you interested in?

Something that rolls of the tongue, for example with [name]Marin[/name] we like [name]Elena[/name]. BUt with [name]Clio[/name] being so abbreviated, it’s hard to find something that flows nicely. Or other daughter’s middle name is [name]Flynn[/name] - so we like androgenous names, but I would go feminine if it were really beautiful.

[name]Clio[/name]/[name]Cleo[/name] was on my short list, and I still love it. [name]Clio[/name] has the most history, but I like the way [name]Cleo[/name] looks more. I also love [name]Marin[/name], it’s gorgeous.

With [name]Clio[/name]/[name]Cleo[/name], I’d use a longer super feminine middle name like…

[name]Marguerite[/name]
[name]Marbella[/name]
[name]Tabitha[/name]
[name]Francesca[/name]
[name]Isadora[/name]
[name]Amalia[/name]
[name]Ariana[/name]
[name]Henrietta[/name]
[name]Juliana[/name]
[name]Marcela[/name]
[name]Therese[/name]
[name]Theodora[/name]
[name]Helena[/name]
[name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Augusta[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Louisa[/name]
[name]Carolina[/name]
[name]Adelaide[/name]

[name]How[/name] many syllables is your last name and what does it start with? My husband and I considered [name]Clio[/name]/[name]Cleo[/name], but it didn’t fit with our other names. For a while we considered “[name]Clio[/name] [name]Lane[/name]”. Depending on your style and your last name, it might seem choppy, but I find the softness of “[name]Lane[/name]” sort of off-sets the hardness (but loveliness) of “[name]Clio[/name].” [name]Lane[/name] is also sort of a neutral gender name, so it fits with “[name]Flynn[/name].”

My last name has two syllables.

[name]Clio[/name]/Kleio is the muse of history in Greek mythology, not for [name]Cleopatra[/name]. It sounds like [name]Cleo[/name], so it should be pretty easy for it to flow.

[name]Marin[/name] is okay, but for me, [name]Clio[/name] has so much more to offer. It is on my list… so I’m bias… a little!!

[name]Both[/name] names are nice but I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Cleo[/name]!
