After easily choosing a girl’s name we liked, my husband and I found out we’re having a boy. After discussing boy’s names for what seems like forever and looking through three name books, we have settled on the first name [name]Owen[/name], but we’re struggling with the middle name. Our last name is Rumely (pronounced Rum-lee). Here is a list of a few names that we like for the middle name. Additional suggestions would be appreciated too! Thanks!
[name]Owen[/name] is a great choice! The middle names you have are incredibly consistent in style, which is great for getting an idea of what you like, but it makes it hard to choose between them. I absolutely love the rhythm of [name]Owen[/name] [name]Elijah[/name]- it’s just so darn fun to say! [name]Owen[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name] sounds nice too. [name]Owen[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] Rumely is a bit too full of two-syllable names for me, and sounds a tad choppy, though I actually like [name]Samuel[/name] better than [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Elijah[/name]. However, I’m going to have to say I like [name]Owen[/name] [name]Charles[/name] best. It’s not based on sound; I simply prefer names with meaning. I think it’s a lot more interesting to say “My name’s [name]Owen[/name] [name]Charles[/name], my middle is after my Dad” than “My name is [name]Owen[/name] _____. My parents just liked it.”
