This game is inspired by the game Life. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a board game where you reach milestones on the board like getting a job, or getting married and starting a family. I thought I’d make a game on nameberry about it!

If you want an event to happen, just reply with the name of the event (you can find the names and descriptions in “things that can happen”)
things that can happen
Family Event: ages 1-death
A family event is an event related to your family. For ex, it could be getting a new sibling, your parents getting divorced, or getting a pet
Child Event ages 5-13
A child event is an event related to your character when they are a child. For ex, it could be excelling in a class, breaking a bone, or moving schools
Teen Event ages 14-18
A teen event is an event related to your character when they are a teen. For ex, it could be getting caught skipping school, being invited to a party, or getting into an AP class
Young Adult Event ages 18-24
A young adult event is an event relating to your character as a young adult. For ex, it could be moving out, getting invited to a party, or going to college
Adult Event ages 25-45
An adult even is an event relating to your character as an adult.
Middle Aged Event ages 46-65
A middle aged event is an event relating to your character as a middle aged person.
Elder Event ages 65-death
An elder event is an event relating to your character as a senior.
College
When your character is 16, they can choose if they want to go to college. If so, they go to Berry University and get to pick their degree.
Jobs
When your character is 18, they can chose to get a job. If they have no degree, they will get a job that doesn’t require a degree. If they went to college, they will get a job for their specific degree.
Relationships
When your character is 14, you can ask for a partner. They can break up or stay together. When they are 18, they can get married.
Pregnancy
Starting at 18, couples can have kids by choice. They can hire a surrogate, get IVF, or do it naturally. You can choose to switch to your child anytime and have them be your character.
Wild Card
Starting at 15, you can ask for a wild card. This will be an event that adds drama. This can be a teen pregnancy, a partner cheating, someone getting in an accident, etc.
Death
Death can happen when you want it to. If you want a character dead, just describe how they died and they’ll be dead!

rules
Each day is 1 year
You can have 1 event per day
You can only have one character, but you can choose to switch to your child as the chosen character to continue the generation
