Since when did different views on a subject qualify as a reason to shut down conversations on a forum?

A closed mind is a terrible thing.

It’s easier to have really restrictive guidelines and just remove posts or whatever than try to be more open to multiple ideas or questions. They try to keep the focus on names and avoid controversy even if it is name related.

[name_u]Freedom[/name_u] of speech is not easy, but it is worth it.

I don’t think we are in a freedom of speech situation here :joy: The guidelines are interpreted pretty strictly and on the side of caution Id say from personal experience.

But in general I agree. Seems easy enough to just ignore someone if you don’t think their post is worthy of a response.
