clothing/accessories websites for baby/children

What are some websites you berries shop at to buy clothing for your new bubs or children? I have looked on Carters, Osh-Kosh, Children’s Place, and then you can always look on Babies R us. But I like different, funky, fun. I guess hipster-ish? But can not seem to find other websites.

Love this website!

There is a French brand called catimini. They have some really cute clothes, bright colors, and very unique! Not sure on prices though, and I think sizes there run a little differently then they do in the states! But definitley cute. [name]Baby[/name] gap is stylish as well.

I’m from the UK so you might not get all of the same stores.

These are the ones that I can think of.

This is where I buy clothes for [name]Aphrodite[/name] online (or brands I love that has online shops):

[name]Poppy[/name]'s Closet (link here): brands include Atsuyo et Akiko, [name]Bobo[/name] Choses, [name]Dino[/name] [name]Bebe[/name], Wovenplay, to mention a few. Very cute and fun stuff.

[name]Alex[/name] and [name]Alexa[/name] (link here): this is a high end one, but it’s good.

[name]Mini[/name] Rodini (link here): lots of cute baby and kids stuff, nice colours and patterns, and lovely shapes.

Polarn O Pyret (link here): very colourful and fun unisex clothes.

Nordic Kids (link here): not sure if they ship to the US, but it’s nice inspiration, and you can google some of the brands if you like them.

BabyGap (link here): I know, I know, but their stuff is good quality and very cute.

[name]Mini[/name] [name]Boden[/name] (link here): I just love [name]Mini[/name] [name]Boden[/name], it’s adorable, affordable and such good quality.

Barneys (link here): [name]Just[/name] beautiful stuff, [name]Alex[/name] and [name]Alexa[/name]'s got most of the stuff, but Barneys is always good fun anyway.

Babybird (link here): They carry Anthem of the Ants, one of my favourite brands for children.

[name]Zara[/name] (link here): Sweet, cheap, quite good quality.

Not on the High [name]Street[/name] (link here): They’ve got some great stuff, among others super cute leggings from [name]Blade[/name]&[name]Rose[/name] and personalised stuff.

That’s all I can think of at the moment. Have a look and see if you like anything.

The choice in NZ is so limited that I won’t be much help! I often daydream of UK & US stores opening here. International shipping & customs charges get pretty expensive when the parcels have to travel so very far! I remember thinking I’d do an order online from BabyGap or somewhere, and the shipping charge would have been more than what I was spending on the clothes. A lot of the websites don’t even ship to NZ!

I have some friends who order quite a few unique things of websites like Etsy, you can usually find roundups of the best sellers of kids things on there with a quick google search. (proof: http://www.babble.com/baby/best-etsy-baby-shop-bedding-clothing-toys-products/best-clothing/

Some specific shops in NZ that I like

Pumpkin Patch
Nature [name]Baby[/name]
Peppin Boutique
[name]Unique[/name] Boutique (just got a couple of pairs of awesome Slugs 'n Snails boys leggings for $10 a pair, massive discount!)

zulily.com is a great marketplace for everything from baby and children’s clothes to baby gear and toys to maternity clothes, etc.

It’s basically a site that sells for other companies. They only sell for each company for a couple of days, but they sell at pretty deep discounts. I find the site very, very addicting. It turns me on to brands and lines that I wouldn’t normally come across.

I second zulily.com A few other deal a day sites that carry less well known clothing lines:
babysteals.com and kidsteals.com (If you look under their name at the top of the page, there is a little bird or kite symbol right before the hours posted for new deals. If you click on that icon, it will take you to their hidden archive, and you can shop deals that haven’t sold out yet.)
babyhalfoff.com
mamabargains.com

Thank you everyone! And thank you @[name]Ottilie[/name] for putting links! I love doing online shopping, I truly dislike going into malls or stores anymore. Plus bright, colorful, and different is what I like most.

I just recently discovered H&M carries a baby line which I am LOVING!

I am loving all of these websites! These clothes are amazing, I love the patterns, colors, style etc. Thank you again berries

The [name]Mini[/name] Social is another great discount website if you like Zulily etc.

(My referral email on here is iko.iko.jm@gmail.com if you want to use it  )

@jemama- Thank you! I am loving all of these websites.

[name]Baby[/name] Gap, [name]Zara[/name], H&M…I also always look at [name]Marshall[/name]'s & TJ [name]Max[/name], they have really good prices on baby stuff. They grow so quickly so why go overboard. I also suggest that you mix up the little sets that they group everything into at Carters & the like. I usually have [name]Leonie[/name] in some fun combo of 2 different sets. I also bought her plain black Vans from the boy section cause all of the girl shoes were covered in princesses & cartoon characters. We also have some really artistic friends that made her screen printed onesies so if you’re creative you could try that. She also has some staple pieces (lol) like jeggings & a denim jacket & we do a lot of mismatched animal prints!

@jemama I signed up for the website you suggested as I love zulilly and this site looked even cuter!! I used your referral email so if I do buy something, you will get credit! Thanks for mentioning this site!

@taz- That is a great idea. I like fun out there things not the “Daddy’s [name]Princess[/name]” stuff. Or too frilly clothing. And I find at Carters the girls have a lot of that. The boy clothes are always more fun and adorable [name]IMO[/name]. It sounds like your little girl is one style-ish chicky!! I was going crazy on H&M’s website because of the adorable clothing and sneakers.

@jemama- [name]Just[/name] signed up and used the referal for you like Vitamom did! Thank you  There clothes are amazing

@jemama- [name]Just[/name] signed up and used the referal for you like Vitamom did! Thank you  There clothes are amazing and I am dying over the shoes they have.

I did, too.

I did too. Yikes! Super cute stuff there, too. I am done for as soon as I know if I have a boy or girl. The not knowing is the only thing keeping me from spending my life savings on adorable baby clothing

www.gilt.com is like Zulily except better, imo. I love so much of their stuff! They also do free international shipping every now and then if you subscribe to their newsletters.

www.babyccinokids.com is also a great site with lots of European brands.

@[name]Rin[/name] I am also from [name]New[/name] Zealand and totally feel your pain. Have you tried mail forwarders? I’ve ordered from [name]Alex[/name] and [name]Alexa[/name] before (I no longer live in NZ) and I think I recall they shipped worldwide.

And has anyone mentioned www.etsy.com? I love that you can buy handmade baby and children’s clothing AND know that it comes from an ethical labour source.

I know this is slightly OT, but for maternity clothes, www.asos.co.uk also ships worldwide for free and has loads of cute, affordable choices
