Of your list, I like [name]Aurelia[/name] best, but I think [name]Hadley[/name] is most in line with [name]Maddox[/name].
If I can throw out a random thought, I was at the beach last week and there was a little [name]Ellery[/name] there. I was suprised how much I liked it on a real child. It has the last name feel, but is solidly feminine. It’s got some popular sounds, but isnt common. I think it would work really well with a future hypothetical [name]Maddox[/name].
[name]Read[/name] the above post, [name]Ellery[/name] is pretty, but reminds me of celery unless I’m pronouncing it wrong. [name]How[/name] about [name]Evelyn[/name]? Probably not your style, but I thought it went well with [name]Maddox[/name]. [name]How[/name] about Evalia or [name]Emilia[/name]? [name]Unique[/name], but has that ending with an a sound and number of syllables you like.
DH didn’t like [name]Ellery[/name]. I like [name]Evelyn[/name], but he thinks its too ‘old lady-ish’ (rolls eyes). And I do love [name]Emilia[/name], but that is my sister’s name!
DH doesn’t like unisex names, which killed like half my list. And as much as I like really creative names, I don’t want anything too out there for my baby.
I think I’m just in a name rut, but time is a ticking!
