Prudence and Agnes are my absolute favorites in this category! I play on online game with little pet people, and my girls are named Prudence and Agnes.

I also love Esther, Gloria, Joan, Mabel, Maud, Cora, Dorothy, Patrice, Betty, Ruby, Pearl, Marjorie, and Audrey. I know some of those aren’t actually “ugly” and are reemerging as popular names again, and I’m glad.
