I have noticed that I seem to like the same letters in all the names that I love…
I love the ‘look’ of the letters dl together - [name]Hadley[/name]
and I also like the letter O - [name]Olive[/name], [name]Clio[/name], [name]Milo[/name]
and also the letter A
I seem to be attracted to vowel heavy names!
Is anyone else attracted to the same letters/notice letters apearing in lots of the names they like?
I just want to know if I am crazy, thinking that letters look good together.
There’s two things that I’ve noticed about the girl names I seem to like.
I seem to like a lot of names containing ia - [name]Aria[/name], [name]Lucia[/name], [name]Cecilia[/name], [name]Moriah[/name], [name]India[/name], [name]Delia[/name], [name]Julian[/name], [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Cassia[/name], [name]Amalia[/name]
I also am drawn to any names with ana/anna in them- [name]Anastasia[/name], [name]Juliana[/name], [name]Iliana[/name], [name]Ariana[/name], [name]Gianna[/name], [name]Luciana[/name], [name]Georgiana[/name], [name]Annabel[/name], [name]Mariana[/name], [name]Liliana[/name]
I don’t think you’re crazy! Sometimes I’m drawn to a name solely because I like the way it looks.
I usually like:
Names of greek origin that contain the phi
Girl names ending in -illa, -elia, and -ia
Boy names that contain r (also some girl ones actually)
Boy names that contain both d and r
Names that contain the vowel o
Names with more than one type of vowel
Consonant clusters
Palatal approximants
I am completely addicted to boys name that end in -ic (My son’s name is [name]Dominic[/name], so all the rest are now out of the picture)
[name]Alaric[/name]
Emeric
[name]Frederick[/name]
[name]Marek[/name]/[name]Merrick[/name]
[name]Patrick[/name]
