Cohassit. does this place name work?

This is the name of a town I lived in for a little while. I had a lot of meaningful experiences there & think of it as a time & place that was really important/essential to who I am now…

But does it work as a name?

With nicknames like Co or Coey or [name]Cass[/name]?

What do you think of the sound? What kind of person do you picture?

It’s a bit of a mouthful, and a little too clunky for me to work as a name. Cohassit. My mouth trips over it.

I dont think it works well as a name… maybe as a middle name if it is just for the meaning etc. But I think it is a bit much as a FN!

Sorry, I don’t think it works well as a name. Maybe there is a body of water there or other geographical feature that has a more usable name? It sounds a bit like Passamaquoddy in style. A mouthful and kind of odd.

Sorry no it doesn’t.

I guess it could work, Cohassit… I think it would make a fabulous middle name though!
