I’m expecting a baby girl! Trying to find a name for her. Our two favorites right now are [name_f]Colette[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] & [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. Which do you like better? I have a [name_f]Camille[/name_f] [name_f]Susette[/name_f] and am wondering if [name_f]Colette[/name_f] is too similar or if it works ok?
Please share your thoughts! Thanks!
Other than the same c sound at the start, I don’t think [name_f]Camille[/name_f] and [name_f]Colette[/name_f] are all that similar. I really like [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] too. Gorgeous combos!
I personally think [name_f]Camille[/name_f] and [name_f]Colette[/name_f] are a little too close, but I adore [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], I think she’s perfect!
Other than starting with C, [name_f]Colette[/name_f] and [name_f]Camille[/name_f] don’t feel too matchy. That said, if you plan on having a third child, it may make it feel like you have to stick to C names.
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is my favorite out of the two combos, but in this case I’d probably use [name_f]Lila[/name_f] instead given your older girl’s name.
I love [name_f]Lila[/name_f]. [name_f]Colette[/name_f] is nice too and I agree with the previous posters that the names dont sound similar. However, I do believe the names [name_f]Camille[/name_f] and [name_f]Colette[/name_f] ARE very similar. They start with a hard C and end with a silent -e. They have the same number of letters and a double consonant before the final -e. They are both [name_m]French[/name_m] in origin. They definitely are names under the same mold. While they aren’t too similar for sisters, I definitely think picking [name_f]Colette[/name_f] would limit your choices for future siblings.
I love the name [name_f]Lila[/name_f], I would go with [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f].
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. [name_f]Colette[/name_f] is a grown-up, elegant name but I like [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] better.
I love [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is a really sweet name! [name_f]Colette[/name_f] and [name_f]Camille[/name_f] do sound a little too similar to me. Also I like the “L” sounds that tie [name_f]Camille[/name_f] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] together.
