I love [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] for a boy. I just like the strong sound of it, the cool and serene image of sterling silver. Also, I would hope that any child would have many “sterling qualities” in their character that would make a parent proud. I have a soft spot for [name_u]Auburn[/name_u] and [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] for girls (I love Meraud which is a version of [name_f]Emerald[/name_f]). I love the art of [name_f]Titian[/name_f] but I wouldn’t choose it for a child due to its teasing potential. I have a feeling that the general population would just butcher it because they would mispronounce the first syllable. [name_m]Viridian[/name_m]/[name_f]Viridiana[/name_f] is gorgeous and two guilty pleasures are [name_u]Cyan[/name_u] and [name_f]Crimson[/name_f].

[name_f]Lavender[/name_f] (although that’s more of a flower than colour).

I like [name_u]Cyan[/name_u] (I can’t help but see cyanide now though after reading your post 
I like [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] best. So striking! And I went to college and got married in Seattle “The [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] city” so that would be a fun way to tie it to a name.
I would also add [name_u]Grey[/name_u]/[name_u]Gray[/name_u] and [name_f]Indigo[/name_f] (my fav color).
I like [name_f]Emerald[/name_f], [name_f]Topaz[/name_f], [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], and [name_f]Cerise[/name_f] of yours. I voted for [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] but I knew a [name_f]Topaz[/name_f] once who was lovely.
[name_u]Sterling[/name_u] is all right for a boy but I wouldn’t really use it.

I also love the sky blue color of cerulean and the word itself. I named the place I lived after my divorce Cerulean, lovely garden and sky on a beautiful rural road. But not a good sound for a person I think.
I like [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] as colour names, [name_u]Ash[/name_u] and [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] are interesting boy names. Would [name_f]Jade[/name_f] count as a colour name, ie [name_f]Jade[/name_f] green? Also how about [name_f]Ebony[/name_f]?
I like [name_f]Mauve[/name_f] as a possible mn hence my username, [name_f]Cerise[/name_f] sounds nice when I say it in my head.
I voted for [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] (I would love a son named [name_u]Sterling[/name_u]!), but I also like [name_f]Emerald[/name_f], [name_f]Mauve[/name_f] and [name_f]Topaz[/name_f] from this list. I would like [name_f]Claret[/name_f], except that as a lifelong Ohio State Buckeye fan, it reminds me of [name_u]Maurice[/name_u] Clarett, a person I’d rather forget (non-college football fans won’t understand, haha).

[name_f]Emerald[/name_f] - with its [name_f]Em[/name_f]- beginning I think this is one of the most usable. I don’t get why people think it’s “stripperish” or that sort of thing, [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Opal[/name_f] are used aren’t they?

[name_f]Titian[/name_f] - The whole tit- beginning issue, even though it’s not pronounced that way, means I would never use it. But it’s nice.

[name_f]Azure[/name_f] (b?) - I think [name_f]Azure[/name_f] on a boy would be interesting. It sort of has that -er ending.
[name_u]Cyan[/name_u] (g) - This luckily doesn’t make me think “cyanide”, and I pronounce it a bit differently (I prn. cyanide [name_m]CY[/name_m]-uh-NYD and [name_u]Cyan[/name_u]/cyan [name_m]CY[/name_m]-ahn)
[name_u]Grey[/name_u] (both) - This would make a nice middle.
Citrine (g) - Okay this is a gem not color name. But I still like it 
[name_f]Olivine[/name_f] - I just love this, it feels so ageable and versatile and like it’d be familiar yet different.
I voted for [name_m]Stirling[/name_m] only b/c the poll limited me to one option.
I think [name_u]Auburn[/name_u], [name_u]Roan[/name_u] & [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] are okay (though I prefer [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f]).
