[name]Hi[/name] all! I am not pregnant, but my hubby and I like to discuss names.
My mom’s friend is now a grandma to a little girl who’s middle name is [name]Marlow[/name]. It combines the two grandma’s names ([name]Mary[/name] & [name]Louise[/name]). We thought it was such a sweet sentiment and would like to do the same someday.
We are okay with the idea of finding a name that would just combine letters from our parents names. For instance one of our favorite names is [name]Rowan[/name] (though for a boy). [name]Rowan[/name] does a good job of combining our mother’s names. ([name]Roxann[/name] and [name]Dawn[/name])
I could easily “invent” a name, but as you can imagine – we do NOT want to do that. Can you think of any real names that will be a combo of:
[name]Roxann[/name] & [name]Dawn[/name]
or
[name]Cesare[/name] & [name]Daryl[/name]
Can’t wait for your suggestions! Thanks everyone!!
[name]Roxann[/name] & [name]Dawn[/name]
or
[name]Cesare[/name] & [name]Daryl[/name]
[name]Rowan[/name] is very handsome.
Boys:
[name]Rowan[/name]
[name]Dax[/name]
[name]Casey[/name]
[name]Noah[/name]
[name]Ronan[/name]
[name]Lyndon[/name]
[name]Andreas[/name]
Girls:
[name]Sara[/name]
[name]Carys[/name]
[name]Xandra[/name] ([name]Alexandra[/name]? Takes letters from all? A bit of a stretch maybe)
[name]Rosa[/name]
[name]Rora[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name]
Some of these are definitely a stretch, sorry. You have a great one with [name]Rowan[/name], though!
I also love [name]Carys[/name], but an old boyfriend is marrying a [name]Carys[/name]. Does that make it off limits? I guess we could use it as a middle with no problem, though.
I love these!
[name]Anya[/name], [name]Riley[/name], [name]Arianna[/name], [name]Nora[/name]…amazing!
[name]Daniel[/name] is actually my hubby ;)[/quote]
[name]Glad[/name] you like them, it was really hard to come up with combos.
Some more suggestions;
[name]Roxann[/name] and [name]Dawn[/name];
[name]Ada[/name]
[name]Warren[/name]
[name]Dara[/name]
[name]Andrew[/name]
Oh! I so like [name]Warren[/name]!
I’ve mentioned it to my hubby before, but he crossed it off because it’s his cousin’s last name.
Same reason we had to cross off Finely
[name]Dawn[/name] & [name]Cesare[/name]
Donner-? (I know its one of [name]Santa[/name]'s reindeer but could be used around [name]Christmas[/name] lol)
[name]Dawsen[/name]
[name]Sean[/name]
Wow! You really rocked it!
I like:
[name]Cecily[/name]/Cesily
[name]Rae[/name]/[name]Rae[/name]-[name]Ann[/name] (its sparking some ideas…Unfortunatley [name]Reyna[/name] is already taken by hubby’s family)
Saren (It’s pretty, but it’s a gas. it is sparking ideas, though)
[name]Rory[/name]
[name]Dawsen[/name]
[name]Dara[/name]
[name]Rowan[/name]'s a great idea. [name]Cecily[/name] for a girl, [name]Cecil[/name] for a boy would be perfect to honor [name]Cesare[/name] and [name]Daryl[/name]. The Ces sound for [name]Cesare[/name] and the yl sound from [name]Daryl[/name]. What do you think?
