[name_m]Hi[/name_m],
in honor of my daughter being due very close to her twin aunts’ birthday, I would like to combine thier middle names. They are Dishe (dee-shay) and [name_f]Renee[/name_f]. If anyone has any good ideas I would love to hear them. We really like Chrisette as the first name.
Thanks!
I’m honestly stumped! The only thing I can think of is both Dishe and [name_f]Renee[/name_f] have the same ending sound, so you could pick a name like that. [name_u]Andre[/name_u], [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_f]Estee[/name_f], [name_f]Josee[/name_f], Nanee, and Pensee are all [name_m]French[/name_m] names that fit that pattern.
Chrisette is very interesting, like a combination of [name_f]Christine[/name_f] and [name_f]Colette[/name_f], both very [name_m]French[/name_m] as well.
What are your aunts’ first names? [name_f]Sharon[/name_f] could work…Sha from Dishe and [name_m]Ron[/name_m] from [name_f]Renee[/name_f].
The best thing I can suggest is [name_f]Danae[/name_f]. It’s pronounced like [name_f]Renee[/name_f] with a “D” in front. In Greek mythology, [name_f]Danae[/name_f] was the mother of the hero [name_m]Perseus[/name_m].
What about using the R from [name_f]Renee[/name_f] and the shay sound from Dishe and making it [name_u]Rae[/name_u]?
I was going to suggest [name_f]Danae[/name_f]. It’s dah-NAY (so pretty much [name_f]Renee[/name_f] with a D). She was the mother of the hero [name_m]Perseus[/name_m] by [name_m]Zeus[/name_m]. She was sometimes credited with founding the city of Ardea in Latium during the Bronze Age.
Great minds!
[name_f]Danae[/name_f] would be a great choice.
I loved [name_f]Colette[/name_f] from the first time I heard it in [name_u]Les[/name_u] Misarables, but alas, it was vetoed by my hubs i chose Chrisette with a ‘K’ after my sister-in-law.
I Like [name_f]Danae[/name_f] and [name_u]Rae[/name_u] alot! Reshae was also suggested (RUH*shay) or ([name_f]Ree[/name_f]*shay), but I’m on the fence about it…Thank you great minds for your suggestions
What about [name_u]Reed[/name_u]? Simple but has a similar feel to me.
