I need some help coming up with a middle name for [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. Last name is Tys0n - so the middle name cannot start with a vowel!
All our other kids have very classic first and middle names so that’s the direction we lean.
Since [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is also a word name I hesitate to combine it with another word name. So while I like the sound of [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] it’s probably too wordy.
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] (since you like [name_u]June[/name_u])
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Melody[/name_f] (a bit syllable-heavy but very elegant)
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] isn’t normally my style and not sure about Q as a middle initial, but I do like the flow of [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_m]How[/name_m] about these, without the Q:
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Gwynn[/name_u]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Wynn[/name_u]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u]
or these:
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] (I think this sounds beautiful and timeless)
These girls names are my style. My oldest daughter is [name_u]Clare[/name_u] and my younger daughter is [name_f]Katharine[/name_f] who we intended to call [name_f]Kate[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u], I think it is wonderful. I have a few other ideas, although forgive me if they’ve been posted before:
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] (adventurous, I know, but I <3 it)
Rosemary Vivian
Rosemary Fiona
Rosemary Cecile
Rosemary Lilith
Rosemary Pearl
Rosemary Margaret (mouthful, but classy)
Rosemary Margo/Margot (classy like Margaret, but shorter)
My favorites are Rosemary Lilith and Rosemary James, although that is likely not your flavor if you like more classic feminine names! Rosemary Lilith flows the best to me, and has diverse sounds (unlike Rosemary Margo, which I do still like.) Rosemary Lilian is also lovely, though not quite as sharp as Lilith in my opinion.
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Bea[/name_f] [like “bee”] is short and sweet, and leaves “[name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_f]Bea[/name_f]” as a nickname option which is just too cute!
Thanks for all the replies. Please keep them coming.
My husband liked [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] best but our youngest’s middle name is [name_m]John[/name_m] so [name_f]Jane[/name_f] feels a little unimaginative.
My husband suggested using his mother’s name, [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f], as the middle which could also give us [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] B.
