So, we are still thinking a long the lines of [name]Rosalie[/name] nn. Roo or [name]Rose[/name] for a girl. I love [name]Rosalind[/name], but I find myself being more capable of imagining calling out [name]Rosalie[/name] than [name]Rosalind[/name].
The list we came down with - well [name]Rosalie[/name] was really the only choice there. Most of the others were either unrealistic or very much just “fad names” (you know the ones you briefly swoon over and then forget).
Still determining whether to throw in a second middle name, but for now I just want to try to narrow down my middle name options:

[name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Athena[/name] (maybe not so daring on NB, but naming your child after a [name]Goddess[/name] can be rocky ground)

I am currently leaning a lot heavier towards the more daring choices - but there still that “[name]Do[/name] I really dare use it?”
[name]Artemisia[/name] is my own current favourite - my SO isn’t so sure though. He’s a bit nervous, i think, mainly of his family’s reaction. But that’s the risk you take when you choose a daring name, isn’t it?! People will either love it and commend you for your choice or loathe it and think you’ve lost it!

A word from someone who gave her daughter the name of a [name]Goddess[/name]: I’ve only gotten nice feedback on the name, from family and random strangers. I was out with [name]Dita[/name] the other day and I called her [name]Aphrodite[/name], and two separate people turned around and gushed over her name. And this was not in the occult supply shop, I was on [name]King[/name]'s Road ;).
I think [name]Artemisia[/name] and [name]Athena[/name] are my favorites. SO said no to Briseis (blah him). I do like [name]Euphemia[/name] as well, but I just really like the namesakes of [name]Artemisia[/name] and [name]Athena[/name]!
Well, simply based on my personal style, I would go with [name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]. However, I think that the middle name is a perfect way to be daring.

I would go with the daring choices. While I would not use them, [name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Artemisia[/name] is my favorite. [name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Cassandra[/name] is on my list- just a suggestion, has a similar feel to [name]Euphemia[/name], [name]Artemisia[/name], and [name]Athena[/name].
We’re not really lf other mn options, but thank you. [name]Allegra[/name] has been talked about before, but in the end my SO wasn’t a fan.
Nn will be Roo or [name]Rose[/name] - absolutely no [name]Rosie[/name]. I know most people think its cute, but for some reason I just can’t stand [name]Rosie[/name].
Merrybells - I’ve suggested [name]Cassandra[/name] too, but SO doesn’t like it =/
The safe choices are a little too “safe” for me, i.e., bland. I’d stay away from any more floral names at risk of overkill on the botany, so [name]Flora[/name]'s out. Of your “classic choices” I like [name]Viola[/name], but the others are a little too bland/don’t go ([name]Nell[/name]) or trendy ([name]Abigail[/name]).
I love both [name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Artemisia[/name] and [name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Athena[/name], but I’d prefer [name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Artemis[/name], I think.
