I think it throws me off when it’s a plural word used to refer to one person. Like, [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is fine, but Roses would be a bit weird? That’s the main reason why I don’t like [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], [name_m]Banks[/name_m], etc.
[name_f][/name_f]That said I think generally you get used to whatever unusual word name you come across pretty easily! I know a girl named [name_f]Spring[/name_f] (like a water spring, the two words are different in my language) and while at first it was admittedly strange to me, I ended up being able to see it as her name instead of the word pretty easily.
