Comparing RI Top 100 With Whole USA

Hello!

So I was bored and decided to compare my state ([name_f]Rhode[/name_f] Island)'s top 100 names with that of the whole country. Attached is the excel file with a page for girls and a page for boys. It was honestly really interesting to see some of the major changes in the rankings. Also, I firmly believe more people should focus on their state’s list, because it will most likely be more relevant to your child’s life than the USA list, but of course that’s just me. ANYWAY I’m more than willing to do this exact same analysis for other states, so just let me know if you’re interested and I can make a series out of it - feel free to request your state below! Also, let me know if you have any questions of course :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

This is where you can download the data for states. Includes names where there were 5 or more births and goes back to 1910.

Haha! Also may have been procrastinating some assignments :sweat_smile: It took me probably two hours I think? I really love this sort of repetitive task though, so it was fun! Thank you!
