[name]Lorcan[/name] [name]Caleb[/name], [name]Findlay[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name] and [name]Greer[/name] …
Please help me find the perfect middle name for [name]Greer[/name] with these brother names. I love the strength of [name]Lorcan[/name] [name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Findlay[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name] and was thinking of [name]Greer[/name] [name]Hannah[/name], but I think I need something with a bit more substance. It doesn’t necessarily have to be Hebrew, just sound great with her brothers’ names.
So, we have [name]Lorcan[/name] [name]Caleb[/name] and if our next baby is a boy he will be [name]Findlay[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name]. If our next is a girl, she will be [name]Greer[/name]. We are having the HARDEST time finding a suitable middle name for [name]Greer[/name]. Absolutely nothing seems quite right and at this point I feel like I’ve tried every name! I think it’s so hard because
[name]Greer[/name] is hard to put any middle name to, and
I am so in love with my boy names and I want to match the same feel for [name]Greer[/name]‘s middle name.
I’m not exactly sure what I want, but I’ll know I’ve found something that works when I see it! I guess I want something strong and commanding, which is the way I see the boys’ names. However, I’m equally aware that [name]Greer[/name] would suit something long and flowy to soften it down a little. There is no need for the name to be Hebrew like the boys’, but I wouldn’t be against a Hebrew name. Names we have SERIOUSLY considered are:
[name]Greer[/name] [name]Hannah[/name] - a lovely combo but I don’t feel [name]Hannah[/name] has enough substance in the context of the boys’ middle names
[name]Greer[/name] [name]Stella[/name] - lovely but somehow seems a bit abrupt
[name]Greer[/name] [name]Alison[/name] - lacks pizzaz?
[name]Greer[/name] [name]Frances[/name] - love this combo but I fear the 2 names together give an overly unisex vibe which I don’t want
[name]Greer[/name] [name]Eliza[/name] - lovely but is [name]Eliza[/name] to spunky with [name]Greer[/name]? Does [name]Greer[/name] need something more complete and sturdy? (not interested in [name]Elizabeth[/name])
[name]Greer[/name] [name]Molly[/name] - very cute sounding but lacking in substance?
[name]Greer[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] - I live this the most but I don’t like [name]Nathaniel[/name] and [name]Abigail[/name] together, and I love [name]Nathaniel[/name] more!
I really like [name]Greer[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]. [name]Greer[/name] [name]Alison[/name] sounds fine but I like [name]Amelia[/name] even more.

I like more elaborate middle names, ideally ending in an a. [name]Love[/name] [name]Greer[/name] but it’s a pretty spare, almost harsh sound and think it could use the balance of something more flowery. I liked the suggestions of [name]Greer[/name] [name]Emmanuelle[/name], [name]Greer[/name] [name]Delilah[/name], and [name]Greer[/name] [name]Samara[/name]. I think you could go all the way to something like [name]Greer[/name] [name]Angelica[/name].
[name]Greer[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] is great because it gives a willowy, feminine feel to the combo. I think that [name]Greer[/name] [name]Camilla[/name] has the same effect, soft, feminine and the ‘L’s’ in the combo just soften if off beautifully.
[name]Lorcan[/name] [name]Caleb[/name], [name]Findlay[/name] [name]Nicholas[/name] and [name]Greer[/name] [name]Abigail[/name]
WDYT?
Not sure if I could love [name]Nicholas[/name] as much as [name]Nathaniel[/name], but [name]Greer[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] is great and I wouldn’t want [name]Nathaniel[/name] and [name]Abigail[/name] together. Does [name]Findlay[/name] [name]Nicholas[/name] work with [name]Lorcan[/name] [name]Caleb[/name]?
Thanks for the replies! [name]Just[/name] can’t seem to find anything that fits with [name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Nathaniel[/name] as middle names. What would you a name a girl whose brtothers were [name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Nathaniel[/name]? I’m after a sound that fits with them, rather than origin.
The other option is [name]Lorcan[/name] [name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Greer[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], which I’m starting to like together. But in this situation, I wouldn’t have [name]Nathaniel[/name] as I don’t like the matching ‘th’ sounds in [name]Nathaniel[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name].
What are your thoughts on [name]Nicholas[/name] - [name]Findlay[/name] [name]Nicholas[/name]? This has been going round my head a lot lately. [name]Lorcan[/name] [name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Findlay[/name] [name]Nicholas[/name]. Does [name]Nicholas[/name] sound run-of-the-mill with [name]Lorcan[/name] [name]Caleb[/name]? [name]How[/name] does [name]Findlay[/name] [name]Nicholas[/name] compare to [name]Findlay[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name] in this sibset?
