Comprise help needed!

We are now officially TTC #1, and judging by the wall we’ve hit for names we equally both like, we’ve started discussing names more seriously a bit early and are looking for some name compromise suggestions that fit with both my husband’s and my lists. We originally had [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Clark[/name_m] picked as a possible contender, but now I’m starting to lose interest in [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] (mostly due to finding names I like much more).
Any and all name, or even combo, suggestions are much appreciated, thank you.

My short list:
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
[name_m]Cole[/name_m]
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m]
[name_m]Elton[/name_m]
[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]
[name_m]Philip[/name_m]
[name_u]Poe[/name_u]
[name_m]Sulien[/name_m] - Pronounced “sill - yen”
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
[name_m]Timothy[/name_m]

His short list:
[name_m]Amos[/name_m]
Eleo
[name_m]Ephraim[/name_m]
[name_m]Ismael[/name_m]
[name_m]Leopold[/name_m]
[name_m]Linus[/name_m]
[name_m]Matteo[/name_m]
[name_m]Orson[/name_m]
Rhode/[name_m]Rhodes[/name_m]
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m]

Names we’ve been able to somewhat agree on are: [name_u]Austen[/name_u], [name_m]Clark[/name_m]/[name_m]Clarke[/name_m], [name_m]Eben[/name_m], [name_m]Errol[/name_m], [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], and [name_u]Larkin[/name_u].

Good luck trying to conceive. I hope that you are fortunate enough that you will have a real little human to name very soon.

It looks like both of you do like some traditional or classic names. I noticed [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] is on your list and he has a few with a long o sound. Would [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] nn [name_u]Nico[/name_u] be something he would be into? Similarly [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] can have nn [name_u]Theo[/name_u].

His tastes seem a little more bold than yours. Instead of [name_m]Leopold[/name_m], how do you feel about [name_m]Leo[/name_m]? Instead of [name_m]Linus[/name_m], what about [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] or even [name_m]Luke[/name_m]?

Rhode/[name_m]Rhodes[/name_m] makes me think of surname names -
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]
[name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m] ([name_m]Ben[/name_m] is classic, but [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] is less expected than [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m])
[name_m]Samson[/name_m] ([name_u]Sam[/name_u] is similar to [name_m]Ben[/name_m], it has a friendly warm connotation without using [name_m]Samuel[/name_m])

Other random names/thoughts that came to mind:
[name_m]Forest[/name_m]/[name_m]Forrest[/name_m]
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m]
[name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Victor[/name_m]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m]
[name_m]Lewis[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
