Compromising is HARD!!! HELP!!!

My DH and I have 5 months to decide on a name for our future little one. Our first child is [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]-[name_u]Jo[/name_u] [name_f]Helena[/name_f]. That’s a lot to follow! We are not sure on the sex of our 2nd LO yet so we are picking both sex’s still. For girl we have come up with [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. I am in [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] with [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and he will not budge on [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. With the boys side I don’t have a particular name that I must have, but 2 months ago I suggest [name_m]Declan[/name_m] to him and at the time that was the name for our son period end of story. Well, now it has kind of rubbed me the wrong way so to speak and I’m not loving it at all anymore. Great name for someone else’s son but not mine!!! We have gotten so frustrated with each other over these things and my DH and I are both very stubborn so could someone please give us some names that we could possible agree on for boys or another suggestion for a middle name for [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u]???

Yes, compromise is hard!

Have you tried a baby names compromise tool like this one?

http://www.babynamester.com/compromise/settle/babyname/disagreement

It will make suggestions of names you both might like based on your individual lists.

Thanks SO MUCH!!!

Wow, that’s neat site!

laniepace, first of all, I think you should focus on the positives…you and your husband have agreed on a first name for a girl. That is huge! The middle name is a minor detail in comparison. Next, I think that maybe you and your husband should take a little break from names until you find out the gender. There is no use in stressing out over boy names if it is a girl or arguing about a middle for [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] if it ends up being a boy. Good luck!

Thanks [name_f]September[/name_f]!!!
