Conflicting Couple Names, which to switch?

I’m writing a romance novel, and the Main Character was originally named [name_u]Ember[/name_u](she’s a girl) which was fine, until I realized how perfect the name [name_m]Asher[/name_m] was for her love interest. Two fire involving names, ending in -er. If you could help me find some similar, less conflicting names, that would be great. Thanks!

Honestly, this depends on their personalities. Which has the more fire in their soul? If it is [name_m]Asher[/name_m], change [name_u]Ember[/name_u] to something softer. More… light and fluffy. But, if [name_m]Asher[/name_m] has the “softer” personality, change [name_m]Asher[/name_m] to something manly, but something that shows he has a soft side.

Well, you said [name_u]Ember[/name_u] was “fine” for the female but [name_m]Asher[/name_m] was “perfect” for the male, so I’d say change [name_u]Ember[/name_u] if that’s your opinion. But, I also second @bella mia on terms of their personalities.

You could just change [name_m]Asher[/name_m] to [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] or just [name_u]Ash[/name_u], so you wouldn’t have to drop the fiery aspect of either.
