Conflicting tastes. Help us agree on a girl name!

My husband and I are having a terrible time agreeing on a girl name. We have had our boy name picked out for years- [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Barkley[/name_m] [name_m]Stewart[/name_m]. We are having a much harder time agreeing on a girl name. My husband likes popular top 20 names while I prefer names which are less popular. I like names that are classy but not stuffy and also names that are unique but not too far out there. We are desperately trying to find a middle ground and will take all the help/suggestions we can get!

*Also, my husband does not like names which he considers to be “old lady” names.
** The middle name will be [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].

I think [name_f]Cora[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f], or [name_f]Flora[/name_f] would be great choices. All are elegant and classic sounding without being stuffy. [name_f]Cora[/name_f] in particular is becoming more popular. Some additional ideas are- [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] (might be too popular), [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Thea[/name_f] (she is a character on a popular T.V. show so I expect the name to rise in popularity), [name_f]Luna[/name_f],

I wouldn’t use [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] as a middle name because [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is a form of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. I wouldn’t use [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] too because it’s basically combination of [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (which is a good combo, btw and you could use [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] as a nickname).

You both have a little overlap! [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] and [name_u]Reece[/name_u] are more unisex/surname type of girls’ names and many of his names are a similar style. Would it work if you could find one of that type to agree on?

My choice would be [name_u]Addison[/name_u]. I’m not a fan of the [name_u]Madison[/name_u]/[name_f]Madeline[/name_f] names but [name_u]Addison[/name_u] works for me for some reason. I also love [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] (again something about the lack of the “m” sound makes it so much better!)

Maddy*instead of these two maybe Madeline, Adeline, Adelaide for more classic names with some popularity…they also have more common nickname options-maddy, Addie, even Ella

Taylor-dated, maybe Tallulah or Layla instead?

Payton-not my style…I’ll suggest London, or Vivian.
