I never thought this day would come…the day I consider a name within the top 10! lol
My lists for future children are 3 full combos for each gender. (successful prepping haha) For boys I have Oliver, Nathaniel, and Elliot, with 2 middle names each. But ever since I decided on Elliot it just never seemed perfect or made me swoon like Oliver and Nathaniel do.
Today I started thinking about William which is #3 in the U.S. My others names are no where near this popular. As I’ve said many times before my naming style is vintage (to me that’s being in the top 200 at around the turn of the century) plus some other quirky things I won’t bore you with but William fits the bill haha. I just feel it’s so classy that it’s popularity can be overlooked as it is not trendy like say Jayden is.
My only real issues are I know a couple Williams but by the time I get to use the name I doubt I’d be seeing much of them but their memory is still there haha. Also, I don’t like nn Will or Willy, Billy I could live with but my sister already voiced her dislike of it as we know a few Billys who we are…less than fond of haha. I’d use nn Liam for sure.
