Constance or Clementine?

I really love both [name_f]Constance[/name_f] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] for a girl. I can see [name_f]Constance[/name_f] as pretty much any age but a woman would wear the name well and I can see [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] as a little girl. Which name to y’all prefer and what age wears them better?

My vote goes to [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]. [name_f]Adore[/name_f] the name. I do have a soft spot for [name_f]Constance[/name_f] just because it was a name my grandparents loved for my mom but it did not work with their surname.

[name_f]Constance[/name_f] - much more wearable at any age.

[name_f]Adore[/name_f] them both!!! I really like [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]!

I love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]!!

Both age perfectly well, but my heart has always been with the quirky [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], well, at least since I fell in love with the movie [name_f]Eternal[/name_f] [name_f]Sunshine[/name_f] of the Spotless Mind. [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Winslet[/name_f] plays [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] beautifully.

I’m in the minority as I’ve never seen the appeal of [name_f]Constance[/name_f]. [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is lovely though -I have it on my list as well. I tend to imagine her as a little girl, teenager or young adult, but I think it can age well.

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is beautiful!

I love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]!!! [name_f]Constance[/name_f] is also wonderful, but I don’t like the nickname [name_u]Connie[/name_u] at all.

I prefer [name_f]Constance[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Constance[/name_f]. I agree that it can work for any age, and (thanks to a character association) it comes across as a strong, feisty, no nonsense name for a girl/woman. I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] could work on any age. It does feel a little childish, but I’m not really a big fan of it.

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] without a doubt. [name_f]Constance[/name_f] doesn’t appeal to me at all. If you are looking for an alternative nickname to [name_u]Connie[/name_u] though, I have come across a Concie.
