Constance or Thea?

[name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I are down to two names after a long, long debate over dozens of names.
I love the name [name_f]Thea[/name_f] while he loves the name [name_f]Constance[/name_f] nn [name_m]Tanny[/name_m].
I’m against [name_f]Constance[/name_f] for the possibility that she may be called [name_u]Connie[/name_u].
[name_f]Thea[/name_f] is just so beautiful and perfect to be but, he won’t budge.
It will be either:

[name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]

[name_f]Constance[/name_f] ??

I need opinions, middle names, and support. Thank you!

[name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Constance[/name_f] would make a gorgeous combo in my opinion, and her nn could still be Tannie.
If you introduce her as Tannie, most people wouldn’t call her [name_u]Connie[/name_u], at least I assume so.

[name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is just lovely  I’m with you on this one! I actually really dislike [name_f]Constance[/name_f] - it makes me think of constipation and incontinence (sorry!) But just knowing kids in school… Hmmm, I’d defo go with [name_f]Thea[/name_f]! Failing that, I agree with the previous poster, [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Constance[/name_f] would be a good compromise. Good luck (I hope you get your own way! Perhaps remind him who’s giving birth to her? ;))

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].

[name_f]Thea[/name_f] is enchanting and majestic choice. She sounds lovely. Whereas I’m not keen on [name_f]Constance[/name_f]. I just hear a word which doesn’t feel attractive like [name_u]Ever[/name_u] for example. [name_f]Constance[/name_f] is a classic, she feels elegant and has a strong regal vibe. But despite this I do not find [name_f]Constance[/name_f] attractive. [name_f]Thea[/name_f] is just vibrant and spunky!! I also love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] with [name_f]Thea[/name_f]. [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is beautiful. Use [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] I agree with the poster above remind him whose giving birth ; )
