Constance?

What are you thoughts on the name [name_f]Constance[/name_f]?

Mmmmmm I honestly go back and forth on this one. I wouldnā€™t use it personally (mostly n / st are pretty harsh sounds and our last name has enough of those already) but itā€™s got that solid/classic appeal but somehow also seemsā€¦stuffy to me? Like it the boarding school marm that walks around the classroom with a rulerā€¦

i love constance!! she has so many amazing nicknames, from sleek ā€˜ceceā€™ to sweet ā€˜annieā€™ to fit any personality, and the full name is so pretty as well. i adore a good virtue name, and i think this one is particularly ā€œuseableā€ since sheā€™s one of the better known options.

to me she gives cozy fall vibes ā€“ :scarf::railway_car::fallen_leaf::honey_pot:

I do like [name_f]Constance[/name_f]. I knew a girl with the name when I was a teenager and Iā€™ve liked it since then. Itā€™s not one you hear very often, but itā€™s familiar and likeable. I find the ā€œnceā€ endings pretty charming (I like [name_f]Patience[/name_f], [name_f]Prudence[/name_f], etc) and I also like [name_f]Constance[/name_f] for its association with [name_u]Lake[/name_u] [name_f]Constance[/name_f] in Europe.

Itā€™s a beautiful name and my daughterā€™s middle name!
Iā€™ve met 3 children called [name_f]Constance[/name_f], 1 went by [name_u]Coco[/name_u] and the others [name_u]Connie[/name_u] or [name_f]Constance[/name_f]. I feel the nickname [name_f]Cece[/name_f] could also work well.

I think itā€™s a beautiful name. You donā€™t find many girls or young women named [name_f]Constance[/name_f] these days, which I find to be a shame.

I quite like [name_f]Constance[/name_f] - it has grandeur and solidity, and I like the possibility of [name_u]Connie[/name_u] and [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] as nicknames. Maybe it helps that I have a good association with the name?

Personally, I like [name_f]Constance[/name_f]. I wouldnā€™t use it as a first name, simply because I have already decided what I want to name my non-existent daughter. However, it might make a lovely middle name choice for her. So I may use it as her middle name.
I donā€™t know anyone named [name_f]Constance[/name_f], nor have I heard of it being used much lately. That makes it unique. Overall, I think itā€™s a lovely name that could work.

Itā€™s ok, I love [name_u]Connie[/name_u]. I prefer [name_f]Constantia[/name_f]

I like it! I know an older lady that goes by [name_u]Connie[/name_u] and is a great woman. I have a positive association with this name obviously lol.

I love both [name_f]Constance[/name_f] and [name_m]Constant[/name_m], the Puritan version, and Costanza, the Italian version. Itā€™s a beautifully strong name.

I love [name_f]Constance[/name_f] but I have a weird name imagery so she doesnā€™t give of the same vibe as what most people get.

I get a girl who probably lives in a small, medieval style (but more modern day) town nestled into a hillside. Sheā€™d probably be quite good with a sword. She has dark hair, and her favourite colour is red. She appears fragile as first, but as you get to know her, her petals open up to reveal a strong, yet elegant woman. (she could also be quite vicious, but positively)
