Hello berries!
I’ve been positively fixated with my list of feminine names lately and trying to expand it a bit beyond my more steadfast loves.
On paper at least, I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] fits the bill perfectly; but I just can’t bring myself to love it. The name just doesn’t stand out to me in the way similar names such as [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f], [name_f]Greta[/name_f], [name_f]Betty[/name_f], or [name_f]Aoife[/name_f] do.
What are your thoughts on [name_f]Alice[/name_f]? How would you categorize the name [name_f]Alice[/name_f]? What emojis do you think fit the name [name_f]Alice[/name_f]? What do you envision when you think of a person named [name_f]Alice[/name_f]? And finally, if you had a daughter called [name_f]Alice[/name_f], what would her middle name(s) be?
Thank you for all your help

Maybe [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] would spice it up for me

I like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] a lot, but I don’t love it. [name_f]Alice[/name_f] to me has a fresh, intrepid kind of feel, probably inspired by the character of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] in Wonderland - it makes me think of someone practical, no-nonsense and admirably capable. The feel it inspires is not as delicate as the name suggests. I think I’ve just made myself like it more

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] is sweet but strong, classic and simple but with literary vibes and history.
It feels very versatile to me, so I don’t imagine any specific type of person - just it’s got solidity and a cute quality too.
If I had a daughter called [name_f]Alice[/name_f], I’d consider middles:
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_u]Romilly[/name_u]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f]

Part of Alice’s super power is that it’s classic yet so versatile.
It’s every bit [name_f]Alice[/name_f] in Wonderland (curious, exuberant, bright, sunshine, magic)
As it is dark academia (serious, cozy, confident, reserved)
As it is old money (confidence, pride, power)
FWIW, I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is exactly the kind of name that can bridge the gaps between [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Betty[/name_f], and [name_f]Aoife[/name_f].
