These are boys names I am considering but not 100% sold on yet, if you like them please try and sell them to me, let me know why they are great names! If you dislike them go ahead and share why they bother you. Thanks a lot!
My favorites are [name]Ethan[/name], [name]Nathan[/name], and [name]Oliver[/name] as I think these are quite classic, solid names. I’m a medium on [name]Everett[/name] and prefer it for a mn. [name]Keegan[/name] is my least favorite as it just sounds made up and quite trendy to me.
[name]Ethan[/name] - I have always liked this a lot but it’s too popular for me to actually use as a FN, and I don’t love it as a MN. Still, it is nice and has such a great meaning…
[name]Oliver[/name] - I like this, too! It’s a bit too boring for me to be able to get completely behind it but I do think it’s a great name for someone else’s kid. I like [name]Olivia[/name] and [name]Olive[/name] on a girl much more.
[name]Keegan[/name] - I agree with the pp–not a fan of this at all! I love [name]Reagan[/name] for a boy but I’ve never really liked [name]Tegan[/name], [name]Keegan[/name], or [name]Reagan[/name]/[name]Regan[/name] on a girl, etc…
[name]Nathan[/name] - I used to like this but I have something against [name]Nate[/name] names apparently because I just can’t see the appeal in this or [name]Nathaniel[/name] at all! I loved it after I first fell in love with the TV show Leverage, though, haha.
[name]Everett[/name] - yesss! Definitely my favorite! [name]Everett[/name] is on my own top three, and it sounds so sweet, classy, manly, refined. I can see an [name]Everett[/name] being any sort of little man (and not-so-little man!), and I love that it’s not mainstream enough to feel overdone. I actually haven’t heard anyone except my sister (urgh) considering this, and I’ve only recently come across two parents who have used it, and they are both on Nameberry! I know someone on another name forum who has [name]Everett[/name] [name]James[/name] on her top 3, I think, but as we live countries away it doesn’t bug me, haha. So handsome! I love the nns Ev and [name]Rhett[/name], probably in that order.
[name]Everett[/name] is my favorite, probably followed by [name]Oliver[/name], and then [name]Ethan[/name].
[name]Ethan[/name]- Very meh. I don’t understand why it’s so popular. There’s nothing wrong with it, but there’s nothing that great about it to me either.
[name]Oliver[/name]- I go back and forth. On the one hand I love it, but I’m also not sure about how well it ages. A teenaged or adult [name]Oliver[/name] just seems kind of weird to me for some reason. Maybe the eternally youthful [name]Oliver[/name] Twist has given it that image.
[name]Keegan[/name]- A family name for me for three generations, so I love it, but for that reason.
[name]Nathan[/name]- I like it a lot. Modern, but much more classic than [name]Ethan[/name].
[name]Everett[/name]- Not a huge fan, but it’s not bad and there’s no real reason I don’t like it.
[name]Ethan[/name] - I like [name]Ethan[/name] as a middle name. I feel that it’s a bit overused (boarding on dated) up front but in the middle it’s strong and unexpected.
[name]Oliver[/name] - [name]Love[/name] [name]Oliver[/name], especially with the nickname [name]Ollie[/name]. It’s one of my favorite names.
[name]Keegan[/name] - Not my style, but it’s something I’d like to hear on other people’s children.
[name]Nathan[/name] - Classic and handsome.
[name]Everett[/name] - This is a recent name crush of mine. I think it’s very masculine and outdoorsy sounding and the nickname [name]Rhett[/name] is great.
[name]Ethan[/name] - I love this name but it’s way too popular for me. If that doesn’t bother you, go for it! There’s a reason it’s so popular
[name]Oliver[/name] - It’s grown on me. The only person with this name I think I’ve ever “known” was my old roommate’s bf at the time. That roommate was terrible so that association was there for a while, but not so much anymore. I like it.
[name]Keegan[/name] - It’s ok. This is my least favorite.
[name]Nathan[/name] - I like it! I also like [name]Nathaniel[/name]. I really like the nn [name]Nate[/name].
[name]Everett[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it! My favorite on your list. I also like the similar [name]Emmett[/name] if that’s something you might like!
I love [name]Everett[/name]! It’s my son’s name and it is received so well. People always say it is a strong, solid name. I call my son Evers or Rett for short. My next favorite from your list is [name]Nathan[/name], but I prefer [name]Nathanael[/name]. I would use [name]Nat[/name], [name]Nate[/name], or [name]Natty[/name] (Hawkeye’s name from Last of the Mohicans) as a nick name. I am not a huge fan of the others. They just aren’t my style, but there is nothing wrong with them. Good luck!
[name]Ethan[/name] - fine name, but not making me excited.
[name]Oliver[/name] - I love it, but hate the nickname [name]Ollie[/name]. I always remember hearing [name]Goldie[/name] Hawn talk about naming her son [name]Oliver[/name] because he was always rolling in her belly, so she wanted to give him a soft, poet-like name.
[name]Keegan[/name] - I have nothing nice to say about this name.
[name]Nathan[/name] - love it!
[name]Everett[/name] - one of my boys’ names, so I of course love it!
