I’m looking for more boys names to add to my list, I’m suddenly very “Eh” with all my boys names for some reason, and I feel like my list needs some attention. [name]Asher[/name] is pretty much nixed even though I love it, it’s just getting so popular especially in my area. My husband recoiled when I mentioned [name]Felix[/name] and said it was “a crusty old man’s name,” and he thinks [name]Luca[/name] sounds trendy (which I agree, been an awful lot of celebrity babies named [name]Luca[/name] lately)
I need names that are uncommon, have a very natural and cool vibe, but still have an edge. I like international names as well, bonus points if it has an awesome meaning! Looking forward to your suggestions.
Not sure what names to suggest since your naming style is very different from mine! Of the names you’ve listed, I really only like [name]Benjamin[/name].
I also [name]LOVE[/name] [name]North[/name]! What a great name! I may have to add it to my list! I agree with you on [name]Asher[/name]… It is becoming more popular which is a total bummer because Its such a great name and [name]Ash[/name] is a great nickname! (first loved it in Fantastic Mr. [name]Fox[/name]) Have you heard of the name [name]Kai[/name]? I love this name but our last name only has one syllable and I don’t think [name]Kai[/name] [name]Haig[/name] flows well.
My brothers name is [name]Jack[/name] and I’m a [name]Rowan[/name] if that interests you.
Some boys names you might like:
[name]Arley[/name]
[name]August/name
[name]Cassius[/name]
[name]Crispin[/name]
[name]Dorian[/name]/[name]Florian[/name]
[name]Isaac[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name]
[name]Julian[/name]
[name]Linus[/name]

[name]Samson[/name]
[name]Theodore[/name]
[name]Tobiah[/name]/[name]Tobias[/name]
[name]Webb[/name]
Sorry it took so long to get back to this thread! Didn’t have a chance to review all the names until now. I’ll just list the names that I like and match the style I’m going for…
[name]Rigby[/name]
[name]Silas[/name] - This is also very popular in my area though
[name]Marcel[/name] - Too… French?
[name]Roman[/name] - Obviously too close to [name]Rowan[/name], haha. I do like it though.
[name]Asa[/name] - my husband said this reminded him of a weird old timey preacher though
[name]Dexter[/name] - too connected to the serial killer maybe? I seem to be hearing it a lot more lately too.
[name]Bramwell[/name] - [name]Bram[/name], mostly.
[name]Cyrus[/name]
[name]Calix[/name]
[name]Malcolm[/name] - too closely associated with [name]Malcolm[/name] X?
[name]Oren[/name]
[name]August[/name]
[name]Sage[/name] - Think I like this one more for a girl though.
[name]Judah[/name] - Too much of a religious/Biblical image? We’re not religious in the slightest.
Others have suggested most of what I would’ve already, but just wanted to say that I really like [name]Joss[/name], and think it would sound great with [name]Rowan[/name] (which I love)!
I like this list, but agree with you on striking [name]Judah[/name], [name]Asa[/name] and [name]Marcel[/name]. [name]Oren[/name] is really perfect-- it’s subtly natural, since most people in NC don’t speak Hebrew, but sounds cool and modern. You can’t do anything too overt since that detracts from the beauty of [name]Rowan[/name]'s name.
