Our last name is [name]Brown[/name]. We are thinking of [name]Cooper[/name] as a first name or a middle name. I wanted to get your thoughts on whether or not he will be made fun of given the whole “pooper cooper” thing? And, if the [name]Brown[/name] last name will make it worse? We really like the name [name]Cooper[/name] but we don’t want to saddle our poor son with something that he will hate because other boys make fun of him. [name]Cooper[/name] is not terribly common, but it’s certainly in use – I imagine most people, even young children, have heard it before as a given name and won’t feel the need to rhyme it with anything or to associate it closely with your last name. And for what it’s worth, I think it’s a very handsome choice!
