I’m having trouble deciding between two names! I have a son named Warren Leif (first and middle). I’m now pregnant with a little girl, and I’m stuck between two choices. One favorite is Coralie Vinje (middle name is a Norwegian name in our family, it’s pronounced “Vinya”), and the other favorite is Etta Coralie. Clearly I love the name Coralie, but not sure if I like it better as first or middle. And I love the name Etta but wondering if it’s too short/simple/boring? Or maybe simple is better because it will be easier for her in life to introduce herself, spell it, etc. Also trying to figure out which sounds best with my son’s name. Warren Leif and Coralie Vinje --or-- Warren Leif and Etta Coralie? Warren and Coralie --or-- Warren and Etta? Help me pick between the two, comments/thoughts are welcome too, thanks!!
I voted for [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] Vinje (stunning!) but wanted to suggest [name_f]Coretta[/name_f] Vinje. Smoosh [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] and [name_f]Etta[/name_f] into one name and you could use them all!
They are both so stunning and I love them both!!! I think I slightly prefer [name_f]Etta[/name_f] over [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] as a first name, but I love Vinje and the significance of the name for you so much that I think I like [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] Vinje best overall!
So I really appreciate [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] Vinje in theory, but as a sibset with [name_m]Warren[/name_m] it sounds like “warring and quarreling” to me. I don’t think it’s a deal breaker, but wanted to point it out.
I prefer [name_m]Warren[/name_m] & [name_f]Etta[/name_f].
I voted for [name_f]Etta[/name_f] because I think the “or” sounds in [name_m]Warren[/name_m] and [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] are a little too similar for my taste.
